Richard who will ask for the taxes to be done. Because once this process is over with the NOA2. who would ask for the taxes to be done then. I do not get it. because the embassy wants to see that the 2008 taxes are done first? i thought she brings the last twoo years and they never ask for that.

After reading this board inside and out... I have come to the conclusion that I will bring everything (including the kitchen sink) to the interview... but most of it will not be needed or looked at. Judging from my experience at the Embassy in Warsaw back in April it is really up totally up to the CO that does the interview... and most are whiz-bang... done... Having said that.. I will take no chances and bring it all... just in case... I don't want to wait any longer than necessary.

October? Why so long? Do file an extension every year?

Maire you are bored often. You need a hobby? or something to entertain you...

Normally, I owe a significant sum to Uncle Sam... so I postpone the pain as long as I can... Although it generally costs me money to do so. I am trying to get better at it. I send all (most) of the info to an accountant now and they get it done... then she hounds me for more numbers... I get around to it (also after I do all my clients) and then they sit on my desk.... Yes, I file, 2 extensions each year.

I was going to do the "we are approved" bit again...but some people have thin skin when it comes to that. And I suspect that we will see the notice in the mail before we see it online.
