we are going to do something small on the beach. I'm just waiting to be able to get the wedding bands

Oh that sounds gorgeous, Derek! We can't do "small" really....my family alone is over 30 people, and that is just immediate family..lol! So we're having a smallish wedding with between 40-45 people...the place we're having it is so pretty and on the small side as well but it'll be perfect for what we want!

Hugs, Liz

Alisa is Oksana's daughter. She is two years old. We decided that the majority of the decorating will take place when they both get here. Which is good for me. At this point all I have done is buy all of the furniture. I have to gut my man cave this weekend. I am still upset about taking down my Jessica Simpson poster down.

Thanks Liz. My mom will be fine, but it has been stressful for the rest of my family. She lives a couple of hours south of me and so I have been driving down there when I can. I will be spending the weekend down there after class on Saturday morning. hat was I thinking taking a class at 8 am on Saturday morning.

Aww...how sweet! I sometimes wish Jessie was still two..lol! LOVED that age! LOL, you'll have to find a place to "hide" Jessica I guess! :innocent:

I can imagine...I remember when my mom went into the hospital earlier this summer! She was only in a couple of days but it was a very trying time for everyone!

Well Dude! My daughter is 3 1/2 I can give you tips on colors and little things that girls like ( Kaylin likes anyway) but for the most specific things waiting for Oksana and Alisa is the wise thing to do.

Colors...Purple, Pink, White... Lots of stuffed toys you can get them pretty cheap.... And make sure you get cute sheets with princesses and stuff... they love princesses!

Is that about right Liz?

Yep...you got it Derek! Especially the stuffed toys....and maybe even a nice, soft babydoll. I know my daughter at least started wanting to play with babies around that age.

And btw..LOVE the names Kaylin and Alisa!!

Derek Thats hilarious that you say that, because I got sheer purple curtains to put over the blinds. I thought well this seems extremely girly to me so they should be fine. I haven't bought the sheets yet though I saw some at Target with all of the princesses from the Disney movies.

I have been trying to do as much of my stupid childish man behavior as I possibly can the last few months to get it out of my system. There are just some things I won't be able to do when they get here. Some of our pranks are going to have to be toned down. The biggest thing I have been worrking on is my language and I don't mean Russian. Don't get me wrong I will still hang with the boys, but it won't be nearly as necessary to close down the bar and play wingman for them anymore.

Ok..I have an exercise question for you guys. I've been doing the one's that Derek "taught" me a few months ago and they are working great.....I want more though. Do any of you know some exercise I can do sitting at my desk? I spend so much time sitting down that if there is something I can do while working it would be great!

Thanks guys!

btw...not that you wanted to know, but i want to share...lol...I've lost 18 lbs now!

Hugs, Liz

Sheer purple curtains are PERFECT! I have some silk dark purple one's hanging in Jessie's room..lol! Oh...and other than princesses, you can always get them some with things like butterflies, ladybugs, dragonflies....etc.

You'll be a family man now... Family first! Keep in mind that the world will change the minute they get there. Be prepare for EVERYTHING to be different very fast.

Fortunately for me I can still fart and burp and no one cares... Unless its nasty!

None-the-less... be prepared for the world to be completely different!

Kaylin has Dora stuff too.... But Dora to a Russian girl is just a cartoon chick with brown hair... Dora isn't in Russia

I know now that for the little one's that fairies ...like Tinkerbell...are pretty popular. Jessie has moved on to things like Hannah Montana and High School Musical...lol!

Congrats Liz. 18 lbs. is awesome. I don't personally know of any excercises to do at the desks, but I do recommend once an hour getting up and stretching or walking around for a few moments.

Derek it's like I tell everyone else I am ready for the next phase of my life. Family man is a title I am looking forward to. I'll still do stuff with the guys, but it will definitely be secondary from the moment they land.

Thanks Lee....I have a long way to go but I'm proud of my 18 lbs! And as for the walking and stretching, I do that....my knee that I had surgery on last year makes it impossible to NOT do that!

Hi all!

Yes was able to talk to Lampros for a while yesterday! Thanks for asking! He's doing really well with this new camp and seems to be adjusting nicely. He's got an office job occasionally now so it's more his niche. He might go home to Athens for voting the beginning of October so that will be a nice target to talk again loads on skype. I'm leaving for Washington the 25th of September so that'll take up lots of time to plan and get things ready and settled.

It's cute to hear you guys all talk about little girl stuff.. I was always a bit of a tomboy but stuffed animals are always a key item in a little girls room :P.

01/23/2009 ----------Leave Athens and my Honey for the processes to begin

02/10/2009 ----------Beginning of Greek Military Obligations for 11 months

hehe...that was my daughter for about a year ...she's wear camoflage shorts/shirt and pink ballet slippers with it, dancing all over the house...lol! That was her favorite outfit for a while
