just down... it is very draining trying to stay positive and then getting punched in the stomach at the end of the day with no news... and doing it over and over again.... It dawned on me yesterday... (i am man remember, and therefore SLOW) that it is ALL self imposed... there is nothing I can really do about this and it is totally out of my control... so why do i insist on torturing myself? so i am trying to resign myself to it will be when it will be.

Awww, I'm sorry sweetie! This process is so hard to begin with and then we have to deal with the idiots at USCIS and the long process.....I do believe though that you will have your approval SOON! Just hang in there...we're here for you!!!

I hear ya Richard....I'm starting to get depressed about this whole thing as well. I'm stressed.......between this website and USCIS website I'm making myself crazy. I haven't waited near as long as you have either.....

pretty sad when there's a long weekend coming up and you're dreading it because it means no updates...

Thanks Liz. I know, but now all I have is a bunch of nervous energy. I just don't have anywhere for it to go. I am fine and am confident that everything will go well. I am just a bit hype is all. How are you handling the waiting?

hehe...guess it's a good thing you don't have a fight coming up....you'd be releasing all the pent up nervous energy on your opponent..lol!

I'm doing a bit better with it now, knowing an exact date when he'll be here helps. And I'm a bit more busy with Jessie being back in school....not as much time to sit and dwell on the fact that he's not here yet...lol! Plus, I'm doing a bit more with wedding plans since I know for a fact we'll be able to have our wedding when we were planning it for..hehe!

I have had to take a break from training this week. My mom is really ill and in the hospital. She will be fine eventually, but it looks like she is going to be there for a few more days. On top of that I have been turning the guest room into Alisa's room so she will have her own space. I know nothing of what will look good for a little girl though. Thank god for craigslist.

We are still playing it by ear. Because of finances we have to plan carefully. She's only been here 3 weeks and we have time to do everything and get the $1010 together for the AOS stuff. And we are flying to DC for thanksgiving to hang with my family. At least I have my sweety feeding me and taking care of all the stuff I don't like. SHe likes to cook, clean, and take care of us for fun!

Oh Lee, I'm sorry to hear about your Mom, sweetie! I'm glad she'll be ok though! And dumb question...but who is Alisa? And if you need help decorating for a girl...just ask! Mine is as girly as they get..lol!

Yeah, it's a lot of fun now that I know I can actually plan things for sure! We'll have the wedding on November 21st in San Antonio by the famous Riverwalk! A gorgeous little Bed and Breakfast there!

I know what you mean about finances! I'm trying to plan ours and use as little money as I can. My sister asked me the other day if I'm going for a countryish theme for the wedding....I told her no, I'm going for a cheapish theme..lol! Anything I can get for cheap or free I'm taking!
