Hang in there Richard! It will pass as all things do. You'll be approved and together and the journey won't be important anymore. You'll have a whole new set of worries. I am experiencing this now!

I tend to agree with you Derek. I am much more worried (although worried is too strong of a word) about the children adjusting to america, joanna and the kids being home sick, the fact that they can not travel before AP and maybe they feel stuck... all the other paperwork that needs to be filed in the next steps... the everyday things that couples have to deal with are much more important to me that this...

Having said that, I am really P.O.ed that the USCIS has the ability to just say we need further review (without any detail) go away for 6 months... and right now... that is what I am trying to discern... what i can and cannot do... and expect.

I am still of the belief that our NOA2 will come very shortly... however, in the event that it doesnt I want to be prepared...

You guys ok?

We are ok. Besides finances things are good. Nothing can be perfect all the time. When one thing is good something else is off.

I think Rosanne-Rosanna-danna said it best when she said "It just goes to show ya, if it aint one thing its anutter"!

That's it! Anutter!

I'm surprised that Joanna's name was not on the notice. Have you called them to inquire about your case?

Yes I was pretty sure I had to file the EAD before he could work. We're ready to marry right this second if we were able so maybe a week after his entry to the states we'll set up a little church wedding. There is a Greek Orthodox church 2 miles from where I'll live in Washington!

Wait a sec! This last sentence almost makes it sound like you actually are starting to like it here!

I have sent the letter to my attorney and to my congressman's office... the next thing I will be doing is calling the USCIS and seeing what I can find out.

Gorning everyone. Richard it looks like they got back into the March box yesterday. Thats at the very least a good sign. I am sure they are getting to yours soon. Maybe they are all fans of Vanessa Williams though.

Ya, Vanessa Williams...she is a hottie....I remember the photo spreads in Penthouse or was it Playboy? I don't remember it was like 15 years ago...

Oh, you mean the tennis player....never mind... My mind is in the gutter as always

Keep in mind the brains over at USCIS are not the sharpest! I think the manager I spoke with just learned to tie his shoe. The reps are a different story all together. At least most of them passed the "hello, may I help you" test!

Richard this is your week buddy. I am telling you

I received a letter in todays mail.... my post is here

Grrr....this makes me SO mad (not as mad as you I am sure). Now it is time to have your Senator request detailed information. Like *what* "additional processing" is needed. Not well we want to have an extra cup of coffee and *TWO* donuts, so you will have to wait 6 months for us to do this.

Also I think there is a new USCIS director (permanent) so I would include him.

I am happy to hear that you two are doing well Roman! Everything progressing as it should I hope? Where all have you taken her in the city. I need you to do me a favor. Supposedly there is a gourmet PB&J restaurant in the village somewhere. I am going to New York in December and I would like to know if this place is worth going to. If you could go there and let me know if it's any good that would be awesome.

Oksana is doing great. Doing all of the good bye parties and things of that nature. So she isn't even thinking about it at all. We got her plane tickets to Moscow already and her mother is going to meet her on the same day so thats covered. Now it is just the waiting and I think I am by far more anxious than she is. I have just been keeping my mind occupied as much as humanly possible. Thankfully school is starting this week and so that will occupy a ton of my time.
