Hi! I called VSC today and spoke to a nice lady on a phone asking her questions concerning my case. Basically my concerns were about processing times and the inefficiency of approval process due to jumping to later cases rather than earlier. As far as processing times she told me that september is too optimistic for me to get a notice , more likely by Thanksgiving. As far as jumping she told me that every case is different therefore it takes more time to approve some of cases. Not very encouraging conversation. I called my attorney afterwards. He simply told me to stay put and just wait. There is nothing can be done. Even expedite process is impossible. Senators and congressman have no pull in it. Sit and wait.

I kind of agree with you. However I do believe that if a senator or congressman gets involved it has the likelihood of at least getting somebody's attention. Ultimately, however we all just have to wait and wait. It's a painful process that only as you get further through it does it ever feel like there is some relief. My prayers go out to all those who are still waiting for their NOA2, but I am confident that they will eventually get to you.

Yes I was pretty sure I had to file the EAD before he could work. We're ready to marry right this second if we were able so maybe a week after his entry to the states we'll set up a little church wedding. There is a Greek Orthodox church 2 miles from where I'll live in Washington!

Gorning everyone. Richard it looks like they got back into the March box yesterday. Thats at the very least a good sign. I am sure they are getting to yours soon. Maybe they are all fans of Vanessa Williams though.
