02/23/10: FedEx online tracking confirmed delivery of AOS,EAD and AP at Chicago Lockbox

03/02/10: Check cashed

03/05/10: Received NOA1 for I495, AP and EAD (says it was done 3/2/2010)

03/12/10: Received NOA2 Biometrics letter. Appointment date: 03/22/10 (letter notice date: 03/08/10)

03/17/10: Received email/text message stating that CASE SENT TO CSC ON 03/16/10

03/26/10: Received notice AP has been approved and a notification has been mailed to me.

03/31/10: Received notice for EAD production

04/02/10: Received AP

04/05/10: Received EAD card

Here's my doggie, his name is Mo! Everyone makes fun of him too because he's pretty dumb.. he got bit by a copper head snake and isn't quite the same since.. but he is alive and cute!

Yea i thought so, but once you send out the I485 then you get a receipt like that one too right?

Hey Rich...the days are passing by man! I had a blast this weekend with my friends and my girl got her first goodbye party with her job friends (she did some intern job at a TV station in Peru) and now her Prom. friends are making her another one at this girl's house who's one of her best friends, it's kinda sad seeing how she's sad about leaving, her memories and all just makes leaving a sad experience for her,but like you like you said, its natural.

I think as soon as we get married I'll stress myself financially and will do the I 485 right away, or should i just wait a couple of weeks or even a month to do so? We plan to wed Sept. 23 (spring begins in Peru that day so its an easy day to remember lol) but i want to do it fast because i want her to have the green card fast so we can go to Peru and get married religiously, to us that's the most important ceremony. She also wants to work but i told her that she should concentrate in learning English first for some time before starting to do that, she's very eager to help me too, that's why she says that... what's your advice my friend.

I too am planning to wed ASAP so we can start the AOS and EAD stuff right away plus getting advanced parole so she can travel outside the US if needed. I know Joanna would like to work ASAP as well (especially since she has been suzy homemaker since December). She has the need to contribute to the family in a monetary way. My feeling is "do what makes you happy" if she wants to work sooner rather than later, that is okie dokey with me, if she would rather wait that is fine as wine as well... I think I say, see what happens and how things develop when she gets here...
