Do you think she is aware that it is your wedding and not hers? I know a few self involved people like that. It is painful to be around them at times.

Oh she knows, Lee....here's the kicker...SHE DOESN'T CARE! It's the prime opportunity for her to get LOTS of attention!

Hugs, Liz

Arrgghh..it's just so aggrivating! Pat and I decided that we're not going to "remind" her of anything again...not going to help with her tickets...if she makes if fine...if she doesn't even better!

Richard I am sorry already. Yes I was in the March filers, but I wasn't doing it for the attention. They NEEDED me in there. You just have to let it go.

Hey guys! how are you doing today!

Well today Kathy went to pick up her passport and the envelope containing the docs. As far as when she'll get here, chances are that tomorrow imma buy her ticket to arrive Sept. 9. That'll give her plenty of time to say her goodbyes to her family and get other things done. i start school at the end of the month eek... and other than that, we're looking to get married Sept. 23rd....

Now...i'm not too sure about the change of status, i think first its a temporary resident and after some months or a year or two you apply for permanent resident? I'm a bit confused there as you can see because i read something like this somewhere...

Wife's Adjustment of Status,EAD and AP:

09/05/09: POE- New York City

10/23/09: Marriage

02/19/10: Mailed AOS,EAD and AP via FedEx to Chicago Lockbox

02/23/10: FedEx online tracking confirmed delivery of AOS,EAD and AP at Chicago Lockbox

03/02/10: Check cashed

03/05/10: Received NOA1 for I495, AP and EAD (says it was done 3/2/2010)

03/12/10: Received NOA2 Biometrics letter. Appointment date: 03/22/10 (letter notice date: 03/08/10)

03/17/10: Received email/text message stating that CASE SENT TO CSC ON 03/16/10

03/26/10: Received notice AP has been approved and a notification has been mailed to me.

03/31/10: Received notice for EAD production

04/02/10: Received AP

04/05/10: Received EAD card

Adjustment of status.. if that is what you mean from my point of view will be done as quickly as possible after marriage..I will also apply for advanced parole so God forbid something happens back home, she can travel without fear of not being able to return. Is that what you were referring to Need?

September 9!!! that will be here very quickly! I am excited for you!!
