Ok. I'm through feeling sad and despondent. I got my approval TODAY! Email at 7:15pm! Totally strange time to send me this email but oh well! Woot! I really really REALLY had the worst feeling that my file was going to be stuck somewhere. Anyone still waiting please hang on. The waiting almost made me completely lose my mind. But now the sweet sweet relief...

Now we just have to get Richard his approval. I had a feeling this was going to be a good week. It is nice to have a few less people stressed out. Richard I know that you are not worried, but I want you to get your approval sooner than later.

I really was starting to worry that something was wrong, or that after all this waiting I would get some sort of unexplained RFE which would delay everything even longer. Thank the gods that this part at least is finally over. I've been waiting so long that the waiting itself started to become some sort of habit. I've got to get ahold of myself or else I'm going to go nuts with happiness!

I'm absolutely going to make the trip there to go to the interview. She already has everything mostly in order to come to the states, so as soon as she has the visa in hand we're going to travel back together. I can't wait!

I'm going to pour myself another sangria! Thank you everyone for the cheerful support!

Thanks Lee... It will happen, VSC seems to be on one of their "ROLLS"... and the CSC seems to be the laggard again... strange how this happens. Nevertheless for the sake of all my new friends and family I am glad that the sleeping giant, Vermont, has woke up!!! Four more approvals today so far and more than likely a few more will get updated tomorrow... yeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaa... Two more of my wonderful February family is out of the HELL known as the USCIS and VERMONT.

Roman, just FYI, I have to be uptown at 2 for a meeting with a client and come back downtown to give a deposition a little after 3. It will probably take 2 hours... so with any luck I should be done a little after 5. No nap... and probably not a lot of sleep tonight, I never sleep well when I travel... I will try to keep you posted through out the day

Not a drop of spanish blood in me. Mostly scottish with a little polish. I sold my house 2 weeks ago and while I'm looking for a new place to rent for awhile for me and my SO, I'm bunking up at my parents place that have a small vineyard. Everyday I take the leftover tasting bottles and mix up some sangria to take the edge off. And up until tonight that has been one serious edge.

Your day will come soon!
