I don't want to spen a ridiculous amount of money considering she will soon be here and we have plans to do some celebrating then. Trust me Igor I found that out the hard way. Luckily it was only a bottle of perfume, but I learned that lesson the hard way. A lot of people in the russian regional forum have said the same thing. What did you lose?

8G thumb drive with our pictures from the trip and a few covers for the Ipod. Luckily they haven't touched a brand new Nokia I got here.

I sent a package via DHL and it got to Ukraine without any issues. I do not see what would be the difference if you send it to Russia. But if you had a bad experience than don't do it.
