Is Lee out of AP yet? that must be nightmares for that.

Not yet... and yeah, it has to suck big time, hopefully they will be out soon... most everyone I have been reading that has recently gone through it... has only lasted 2 weeks or so... So, surely, it has to be soon

I don't cry very often, because that's just not what I do. I do cry just not a lot. Tears of joy is not the same thing. I believe I owe a lot of thanks to a lot of you for both the positive energy and prayers and whatever else you want to call it. My application was forwarded to the embassy today. I have just had a huge weight lifted off of me. Thank you so much for putting up with me when I was grumpy and picking me up when I was down.

Enough about me lets get the rest of our family approved and start planning this damn reunion already. There are so many of you that I want to meet in person.

Yes, now back to reality, working 7 hours tomorrow and 7 hours Saturday after an international flight..ergh. Yes we had a very "good" time Richard. I'm feeling so down now and I hate that he's so far and then plus the military is hard with communication. At least we have a little to talk before he goes back... aaah. Lee, great news and congratulations!

Any of you that believe in prayer, please pray for me and Lampros for this next bit of journey as we hope on our lives that he'll be accepted after his service to the states.

01/23/2009 ----------Leave Athens and my Honey for the processes to begin

02/10/2009 ----------Beginning of Greek Military Obligations for 11 months

03/21/2009 ----------Stationed to Rhodes

07/16/2009-----------Meeting in Spain for 6 days!

08/27/2009-----------Stationed to Nevrokopi

01/10/2010-----------Gets OUT of the Army!

02/16/2010-----------Interview!

02/24/2010-----------Lampros arrives in WA!!!

He didn't just want me long, he wanted me a little longer than forever... :3

I would personally stick with the address that you have been using. I would change the address when you go to adjust status. I know that honesty is supposed to be the best policy, but unfortunately you are dealing with a government agency and as you are well aware not the most efficient one either. I wouldn't complicate things this late in the game. It is ultimately your decision, but in my opinion I would keep whatever address you have been using.

I agree with Lee here  - unless the old address is not able to get mail for you (your mom still lives there right? and she still is talking to you and willing to give you your mail?). Keep consistent with the address for now, and change it later (use an updated address when you file the AOS).

Ok, I'm not going to go into why this has been a bad week except to say that Simon Properties is one of the shadiest, nastiest, unprofessional, unrealistic, unreasonable companies that exists.

I am finally able to report the USEM in Manila has our case and finally has let us get an interview date (Aug 10).

They signed for the package on July 17, I called on the 18th and they told me (after paying $18 for a PIN to schedule the interview via their call center) that I would have to wait 4 weeks or until they mailed Jenny a letter (with the interview date). I called again on Tuesday (the 22nd Manila time) and they said the same thing. Then tonight I called again, figuring the PIN probably does not work (it is supposed to be good for 2 calls only), but it still worked, and the person told me that "your case was qualified to schedule the interview as of the 20th of July" (say what!?!?) and let me schedule the interview. Man is this bureaucracy whacked out...

i called the nvc and asked them and they told me to call the consulate... they updated my address. should i have done that?

Rich, I havent gone through this so I only have an opinion that is less than qualified.... that said, I think you are fine... since, generally the interview is mostly a formality.... an explanation should be fine. Surely you are not the first to have moved and the Embassy has gone through this many time in the past....

And now I will stop calling you Shirley! ;)

Relax... you will be fine
