hey guys,

I was reading back, tryin to catch up. I passed my medical, which I am delighted about. It was not what I was expecting at all, very laid back doctor, very routine. all done in 45 minutes including x-ray and I had to get 2 vaccinations. so happy to have it behind me, I can pick up the package this day next week.

Invision-Board-France-548.gif

Nothing back there really that needs to be caught up on...

Richard I tried to tell people that I too was a judge of beer, but they just said I was a drunk. Apparently judge/drunk is an extremely fine line.

I had the same problem... so I took the test and got my master's judge license :) Now I can prove I am a drunk... errr I mean a Judge

So it's possible to be a master judge? The only thing I am currently a master of is bating, but that could change quickly if I were to be a judge. Of drinking not bating.

You can even be a "Grand Master Judge" now :)

I don't think that it would be a good idea to be a "grand Master" anyhting if you live in the south. Just my opinion though.

Congrats Susan. Now you just have to hope they will move your interview date up.

Thank you Lee. I haven't received packet 3 yet from the embassy, they said they posted it out yesterday so I should get it any day this week. I went to the Garda Station (police) to get my police cert stamped to send off and a very nice Ban Garda (policewoman) informed me that I do not have to snd it off to where I was originally informed, and that it was done local and I should have it back by the end of the week. So once I get my results, police cert back and fill out the forms in packet 3 I am good to go.

Susan.. I am not sure I exactly understand... but if I do... I might caution you... In Poland it is possible to get a police report at the local station, however, the Embassy in Warsaw says they will not except this one... I am not sure why since it is my understanding that the local station gets it from the Main station in Warsaw... but just a heads up and to give you something to worry about :)

hi Richard,

thanks for the info, I spoke with the Gard, she said she was absolutley certain that this is what I was looking for, she said that the central vetting unit only deals with people applying for police certs for work purposes and that they send the file back to the local station to fill out. She said I could send it the other way, but that it will take longer and in the end I will be getting back from the local station. So.... I left in the local station here and hoping to have it back by the end of the week!!!! I will let you know if it turns out any different :)

I think it is the same in Poland... I am not sure why the Embassy takes the position it does but they do... go figure! :) Either way we have ours and soon you will have yours also! I am very happy and excited for you....

NOW... on a serious note... where are MORE photos of the house :)

Thank you Liz, it is a relief. I just hope the embassy posted out packet 3 so I can get the forms back in and schedule and interview. They schedule an interview once they I return the forms in packet 3. I'm hoping I will have an interview date by the end of next week, finger crossed. The lady in the embassy stated the interview is fairly quick once I have everything in order, I'm hoping she is right, but who knows, I will remain optimistic :)
