Hey cubanita, go have a cigarette, tiene mi permiso jejeje :D

Do they let you go in for the interview? I was told I would sit outside if I went to Moscow. I could save myself a grand and sit outside at my house.

even if i sit outside i'll be glad to be there and see her because i miss her. but i doubt it, for Peru i think you just show your passport and i can go in with her since i'm the petitioner and also the person who's gonna support her, lets not forget evidence of ongoing relationship. lol

Well...lets hope they havent set the rule they have over there in russia/ukraine....

09/05/09: POE- New York City

10/23/09: Marriage

02/19/10: Mailed AOS,EAD and AP via FedEx to Chicago Lockbox

02/23/10: FedEx online tracking confirmed delivery of AOS,EAD and AP at Chicago Lockbox

03/02/10: Check cashed

03/05/10: Received NOA1 for I495, AP and EAD (says it was done 3/2/2010)

03/12/10: Received NOA2 Biometrics letter. Appointment date: 03/22/10 (letter notice date: 03/08/10)

03/17/10: Received email/text message stating that CASE SENT TO CSC ON 03/16/10

03/26/10: Received notice AP has been approved and a notification has been mailed to me.

03/31/10: Received notice for EAD production

04/02/10: Received AP

04/05/10: Received EAD card

Countries of former USSR are just backwards. There is no reason why they should not let people in, but they do it anyway.

Well...lets hope they havent set the rule they have over there in russia/ukraine....

They actually said that by me being there does not prove or show them anything. They want to interview the person who is leaving the country, not US citizen.

But Marina did say that the Embassy treated K-1 visa applicants better than everyone else. K-1 applicant did not have to stay in long lines (like everyone else) and processing time is much faster. I am not sure why and I am not sure if this is only in Ukraine. But that's what she told me.

Thanks Lee......I have been up to my ears with stuff here at work. I did find several weeks of work...keeps me from being able to poke around on here. At the same time it occupies me enough that I don't have time to think about everything.

wow...they have very strict rules over there.

Well as far as i'm aware, they would just ask me a couple of questions and then the rest of the interview is her only.

Even if they dont let me in...i'll enjoy the break and be able to celebrate with her :P and then see a few weeks later.

BY THE WAY...the visa begins once she sets foot in the U.S or when its given at the embassy in her country?
