Packet 3 Sent : 2009-08-26

on 2009-9-30, dos was finally able to tell us that london processed our packet 3 forms

Packet 4 Received :

Interview Date : 2009-10-22

Medical Date : 2009-10-23

Interview Result : Approved! (received visa 13 days after interview because medical results were pending)

Ellie arrives at POE JFK (NY) : 2009-12-05

I am with you Richard. Today has been a ridiculously boring day. The weird thing is all I can think about is how badly I don't want to stop after work to get gas. Which I have to, but its so hot and I don't want to do it. Even though I am going to the gym right after work and am going to get sweaty anyways. I am so strange in my own head sometimes.

And I thought I was the only one that was strange in my head!!

It started with Richard saying how bored he was and I was following it up with a this is how bored I am story. Which obviously I am pretty bored, because I can't stop dreading getting gas. Completely random and yet it fit the situation perfectly....or so I thought.

Yeah Lee...the Embassy has everything. It has been in the mail room for 2 weeks and they are not very friendly at the Embassy. She acted like I was disturbing her nap or something. She even told me over a week ago that she would email me the packet 3 so I could get started putting it together. No emails either.. The process at every level is bad! USCIS...NVC... Consulate. But it is what it is... we are prepared and as soon as they finally get us everything we can get it done quicky. Once we get the visa the time is ours to get a ticket and move her here.
