Lee i don't know yet where we are going on the honeymoon. We are probably going to vegas to get married and by next year we will see what is next maybe we will got to hawaii or somewhere but right now with the economy as bad as it is who knows?

Its funny you say Vegas, because thats something I was thinking about as well. The reason was Oksana wanted to go to Paris for the honeymoon, but there are several reasons thats not going to happen. Instead I wanted to go to Vegas and staying at the Parisa hotel because, it would be the closest thing to actual Paris minus the expense. We'll see how it all plays out.

myself and Jeremy are getting married in VEGAS next year. that is the big wedding for family and friends, 20th july 2010, almost 1 year to the day :) so exciting. we booked it last year, caesars palace, we cannot wait because it will be the first time my family and his family will meet one another. I have a few friends flying in also, that I havent seen since college, it will be a great day :) we are getting married within the 90 days down a the court house but the big wedding wont be till next summer. After all this waiting, I think I can wait another few months for a wedding

I am still hoping to pull off a Hawaiian Wedding. It depends on who is actually going to come and who wants to come. If we are able to get tourist visas for my SO's family.

I can't remember what hotel I was in in Vegas but it is a newer one that had the huge Italian Piazza in it with the clouds painted on the ceiling... It would be kind of cool to get married in there. Oh I think it was the Venetian... I will have to see if they do wedding in there.... thanks for the idea guys and gals!

Jawi... I hope you guys can make it and that you come hungry.... I just got back from the store and have TONS of stuff to make... but first it is naptime since I have been up since 3 am this morning... Sometime being OLD sucks :)

Richard I believe all of the hotels in Vegas have different wedding packages. I know for a fact they have one at the Venetian. I have been looking into the thing at The Paris hotel. Its like anything else they have different options based on the amount of people that are there as well as the amount of money you want to spend.

Yes they do, I just looked and sent my SO a bunch of photos for her to look at to see if she liked the setting... she is sooooo laid back I don't think she really cares. She would much prefer to have a church wedding but she is Catholic and I am Methodist and I am divorced... so I think that it kind of out of the question... We'll see what she has to say.... ok... its really nap time :)

if they didnt say it was AP, i would assume "under review" just means they didnt get to it yet.

I hope you're right. This whole process is such an emotional roller coaster. I thought it was smooth sailing after USCIS. It probably still is. I am looking too much into this I think.

"under review" is such a vague term it can mean anything....but i doubt its AP. how do check your status at the NVC? do u have to call them or is there any other way

Leeeeeeee don't worry, you will be out of it soon, I was out of it in a matter of 6 days. Give it a week, since they were off for July 4th weekend, you will be out of it in no time. Before you know it, you will eventually get a response "the petition has been forwarded to _____ consulate on ____" ... don't be downn turn that frown upside down!

The Good News is they are working on the Older ones which i notice this happens after they do a lot of approving of the current applications. When i mean current i mean the current month they are working on which is February. keeping with the good news if they get all the older ones finally finished they can only work on those current months that they are working on now and i mean February and then March.

richard are you drinking without me? All you pour me is a cup of coffee and now you are bringing out the Hard Stuff.? Shame on you... DOn't forget us little people...
