He doesn't have two profiles, this is Haley the USC and he is Ash my fiance. Careful what you accuse. Sorry if we've caused a big problem really, we both have just been bothered by having to search through pages of off topic discussion to find out what's going on in the area of approvals and such. I mean, July 08 filers don't have a thread this long, nor November or December of last year. It's just slightly frustrating when we have to go read through the same 8 pages of hi hows it going/work/good morning/etc.

Also, please don't try to separate us by saying we are bitter due to not being approved while you have. That is not what it's about, we just would like to keep up with the technical sense of it to better estimate when our day will come. And no thanks on the mojitos :)

Anyway, I think I'm done with this.

I apologize. I thought about that after it was too late to edit the post. I'll see what I can do to gather some info for you tonight...since I'm home on bedrest and I will start a separate thread for you with the info okay?

Understood Haleywynne. But there are a LOT of technical estimates on VJ that provide this info. Everyone of the Feb VSC posters on this thread updated their timelines...I checked when they posted that they were approved because I wanted to see how long it took for approval for them. The unfortunate thing is that there really is no rhyme or reason to this MESSED up process. If you could truly estimate based on the posts here...there would be no need for the 6+ months thread...or the Feb VSC filers that still haven't gotten approval or any of the other topics on this forum. I know how frustrating this is...a really do. We were not trying to frustrate you even more...by bonding over something other than the K1.

I see that we will agree to disagree on this one...because I think your frustration and anger with the process got misdirected to us for having some harmless comraderie on the thread. With that...I'm done talking about it. I wish you nothing but the best on this process...I really hope your approval comes quickly. The load off your shoulders feels amazing when it comes.

We are all friends here. We are all going through the same thing and it is difficult for each of us. Over the months of frustration of not getting approved we would try and help each other along the way. I am very hopeful that those who filed in Feb get their approvals soon as well. I am sorry if what we talk about at times is not what you are looking for, but if you do have any K-1 related questions we have always made it a point to answer them as quickly as we can. Honestly though we really have just been a big support group for each and to help take our minds off of the seemingly endless waiting.

I actually enjoy reading everything on this thread, even though I don't write much at all here. Somehow throughout this whole frustrating process I find it nice to know that there are people here that have gone through (and some still going through waiting for their NOA2) the same things i am. And when I read everyone still being upbeat and positive, it gives me a little strength to not get lost in my own despair of waiting. It's free therapy.

Ultimately, it's like tv. If you don't like what's on it, you can change the channel. There are endless threads and resources here-- not to mention tons of friendly people willing to answer any question you might have ad nauseum. So let's live and let live here. Aight?

Let me get this straight!!!1 we have people that are complaining on what is said in this thread. listen if it wasn't for lee or richard or derek or liz or maire or everybody else i would have lost my mind throughout this whole process. if you read our threads we talk about everything from signatures to how much luggage the SO will bring on the plane. I mean if you go back to the beginning we have just about covered everything in this thread. medical reports and police reports and i feel that i have met some great people here. So what i am trying to say is don't knock it until you try it.

SO if you don't like what we talk about then don't read the threads and if you do keep reading and if you have questions please feel to ask any one of us. this process has been hard on everyone not just you and without these people here we would have all lost our minds.

its not ideal that we have to go through 5 pages of chat to find a bit of info of people in february who have or havent gotten their noa2 or if any new information has come about, but whatever. i dont really like people telling other people what they can and can not say. i can see how others would use this place, especially this topic, to have conversations about what they please. this topic isnt like other ones that are asking specific questions but rather its just for february filers from the VSC to have a place to interact and have others in the same boat to relate with. what really could be discussed other than people saying 'i got mine' or 'i didnt get mine yet' unless some big change or news came out of the VSC. that would be a pretty cold topic i would think. coincidentally that is actually all im after here but hey, to each their own =).

Hey, did you notice that one person from our date FEB 23 got approved today? He posted this morning. Yay 23!!!!! Our time is coming. Come on USCIS- you can wipe the remaining 10 of us out in one day, right?? :)

i did notice. i actually surprised myself because i only had contragulatory feelings and excitement for them and not jealousy. man, i dont even know how im going to feel when all this is over. its too much awesomeness for me to compute right now.

I know what you are saying...It's just so hard to describe!! It's really hard to concentrate on anything and I'm addicted to my computer now. IT's sad...but I guess it's normal. :)

I'd also like to add that I appreciate how nice people are on this thread. I'm sure we've all read the posts where people are just plain mean. I was in this thread in the beginning but I dropped out and came back easily. I was able to just jump right into people's conversations and no one minded. This is indeed a unique thread.

 Wow....seems I missed a lot today!

I understand the position of Haley and Ash...but I hope that they can understand the position of the rest of us in this thread as well. We all see this as a place to meet people going through the same thing we are, make friends, keep each other sane, help each other when it's needed, talk each other through good times and bad times....and be here when anyone comes here with a question or problem. I know I for one have gotten more information from my friends on this thread than I have anywhere else on VJ...AND I'm not afraid to come here and ask like I am elsewhere on the forum where some people are so rude that it sometimes makes me wonder how this place is still going with people like that "helping" out!

I hope everyone feels like they can come in and ask any questions they want...or just join in on the fun! We are all more than willing to do what we can to help!! I know I'd have gone crazy long before now if it weren't for this thread and the friends I've made here helping to keep me distracted while I was waiting.

So...please let us know how we can help you...and once you have your answers, stick around for the fun!:thumbs:

in the beginning i was in this thread quite frequently but after a while i realized the fastest way to get through this is by not thinking about it...thats why i stopped coming to this site as much - until the 4th month hit...because at that point the feeling of anxiousness you had in the beginning comes back
