Create one then. This is a healthy forum for february filers. I'm not sure what you mean by "off topic". There was no specified topic. You are welcome to participate. We are here talking about what ever we choose. There has been a lot of K1 discussion... a lot! Perhaps you should stop feeling sorry for yourself and enjoy our company.

It's hard to keep up with the K1 discussion through everything else.

Edit: Might I add that this is in the Case Filing and Progress Reports section. There is an Off-Topic section on this forum.

Not to sound harsh... but talking about the fact you may or may not have had your approval yet in an incessant fashion is unhealthy. We have been here for 6 months and have become friends... many have come to this forum and just joined in. When it is time to vent...we do... otherwise we talk about a lot of topics. If you are a feb filer just start posting what you feel and we will all participate. Thats why we are here... support!

What you may see as off topic is just others talking about life while we wait...that IS part of this forum

I don't feel sorry for myself, and I didn't post to create an argument. Look at what this forum section is for:

"This forum is for Case Filing, Progress Reports & and Congrats Posts :), discussion on the long K-1 Journey"

There are actually full pages in this thread which have nothing to do what so ever with the k1, let alone immigration in general.

You say you are here to support. If I ask a question, by the time I come back online to look for an answer there will be another 10 pages of off topic for me to read through to see if someone even answered me.

Oh and if you think I am just jealous of the people who already got an NOA2 then think again. I know that the process will take a long time, plus I sent mine in at the end of the month. I also know that this whole process is worth the weight, so I don't mind. That should be pretty obvious though by the fact I congratulated those who already did.

So yeah, I am not here to derail this any more. I just wanted to point your attention to other threads, and see how helpful they are in comparison to this months.

If you have paid attention to this post you will see that there is chunk of time usually monday through thursday during work hours where the bulk of the conversations take place. It is easy to find responses to posts. By no means are we to follow a pattern to appease one person expressing concerns. As I said you may certainly post here and get good feed back, but this is what this thread is. Try another thread if you are unhappy with this one. Sorry for the way you feel. most of the discussions in this thread are K1 related.

The way I figure it you guys can all come to Orlando./ Its centrally located between Miami and Atlanta.

Jawi can't fly and her hair is going to be ALL pretty! :P

I'm back now...had to catch up.

Congratulations to those who already got their NOA2.

I havnt posted in this thread for sometime though as it really has gone so far off the rails in untrue. Kinda sad really, i was looking forward to being part of one of these "month" topics to help me keep on track, but the amount of off topic stuff ruined this forum for me.

I wonder if we can have another thread to keep things on topic to keep our minds straight.

You can also start your own thread regarding K1 questions. We also welcome you to come and chat with us. Most of us have gotten our approval...so it really wouldn't be much of a Feb VSC thread if we all left because there was nothing left to discuss about our K1s. You obviously have a problem keeping your mind straight as evident from you creating two entirely different profiles with the SAME information. Did you think we would think another person came on to back your original post? Had you joined us earlier...you would understand how much the sidebar conversations kept us all sane and from thinking entirely too hard on this whole effed up process.

I hear a whole bunch of whining from one person that hasn't gotten an approval...yet...sounds a little bitter to me...we will all cheer for you when you finally get it though. ******mmmmmuuuuuaaaahhhhh****

Want a moooooooojjjjjiiiiitttttooooooo??? We would love to have you join us...next time keep the little violins at home.

its not ideal that we have to go through 5 pages of chat to find a bit of info of people in february who have or havent gotten their noa2 or if any new information has come about, but whatever. i dont really like people telling other people what they can and can not say. i can see how others would use this place, especially this topic, to have conversations about what they please. this topic isnt like other ones that are asking specific questions but rather its just for february filers from the VSC to have a place to interact and have others in the same boat to relate with. what really could be discussed other than people saying 'i got mine' or 'i didnt get mine yet' unless some big change or news came out of the VSC. that would be a pretty cold topic i would think. coincidentally that is actually all im after here but hey, to each their own =).

I appreciate this post...and respect what you have said. We could create a thread that shows all the approved Feb VSC filers in one area...but isn't that sort of what the Timeline do already? Igor's list does it as well. However, I can see how having just that relevant data in a thread can somewhat help.

I think we could have it where it shows if the person got NOA2 by phone/email notification/hardcopy or a combination of those. I don't have a need for the info since I'm done with the process until AOS. But, I would be happy to see one of those threads started.

I think the other poster...is trying to dictate what we discuss when they have every RIGHT on VJ to start a new thread and put a disclaimer about what topic the thread should focus on. The original poster of this thread doesn't have a problem with the Off Topic convos right LizPat?

one other thing...you can also search by keywords on this thread...such as approved...NOA2...or whatever to get past all of our crazy conversations if that will help at all. Not much we can do to change the history of the thread at this point.

youre right, that is what the timelines are for. in all honesty, i do dig the emotional bond of a topic as opposed to strictly tracking timelines so maybe im not using this thread as coldly as i mightve came off. some people just want to have their cake and eat it too i guess.
