I just went to the UFC site and was looking around...I know who Mir is now..DUH! I'm with you guys, he's a solid fighter and I think he can win this one.

GSP is a fighter I liked watching...I dont know the one he's fighting so can't really make a predicition there.

Bisping was just getting started when i last watched...he's a good fighter as well and hearing what his record is right now makes me think he'll make it through this fight a winner as well.

Do any of the older fighters still appear at these big shows? Like Liddell, Hughes, Franklin???

Yeah they do, but Liddell and Hughes are close to retiring. Franklin just fought in the last month or so. Those guys are still exciting to watch though.

Noooooooooooooooo....Liddell is my hero...LOL! I have a bunch of Iceman stuff in storage..hehe! And Franklin is my second favorite so it's nice to hear he's still fighting!

I called yesterday to see if mine was there and i just didn't know it, and they told me it takes 2-6 weeks to arrive. Before that they told me it takes 2 weeks. Plus with the holiday the mail is behind. So I wouldnt worry yet...

Yes, I bet both of ours is in the mail. :) I will check tonight when I get home, although mail to south FL is the worst. Based on Igor's list it looks like they are backtracking a bit and getting those done that should have been done awhile ago....who knows.

Liz its been over at NVC since last Monday. Its only been a little over a week. Throw in the holiday weekend and its not been that long. I am not worried at all. Just a bit anxious is all.

Speaking of beer we are actually getting a keg for the UFC this weekend. Having a big BBQ and drinking and watching people beat each other up. 20-30 drunk guys in a relatively confined area. What could possibly go wrong?

Well, I was approved on June 30, received my hardcopy on Monday, and NVC does not even have it yet :(

When I talked to them yesterday, they said it can take as much as 90 days! I'll call tomorrow - today is meetings *ALL* day...

Yesterday when I called the lady seemed out of breath and I was on hold for like 13 minutes. I lied and said I had my approval a week ago and she said please be patient with them because it's taking 2-6 weeks for them to get them. I don't believe that. I bet they will get your files this week!

I hope so, I want to make an appointment for my medical and request the day off work. I told my manager that i will be needing a few days off in July and August for medical and interview, now she is bugging me looking for the exact days.

I think it is silly that we cant get the medical out of the way once the case is approved, my understanding was that the medical is valid for 1 year. i know what doctors facilitate the medical but we have to bring a letter from the embassy with us, is this the same everywhere else??

I read on the Amman Embassy website that the letter is required for Jordan. I agree with you, you should just be able to go get it out of the way. Have you thought about e-mailing the embassy and tell them about your situation and asking them if you could get it done now because of work schedule, bla bla bla.....maybe they could e-mail you something????
