WOW i guess you got the experience in taste... which one do you recommend so i can pass by my local beer store and get some this weekend. This place around my house has beer from all over the world so i'm sure i can find any...hopefully.

So NVC are meanies... not surprised...

Spaten and Paulaner are my two favorites. Hoegaarden (Belgium beer) is another good one.

Paulaner is one of my favs too! The one I liked best I dont think you can get here...it was made at a monestary in the town I lived in...it was a very dark, smoked beer...it was delicious!!!

Dark Paulaner is quite dark. I like it better than Paulaner lager.

The dark beer i mentioned is the only dark one I would drink...think it was because it was smoked. Usually I drink the lighter ones like a good hefeweizen or pilsner.

Hugs, Liz

Close...in Germany they don't use soda, they use a sparkling lemon water. I could drink a ton of those before the effects of the beer hit me..but when it did...oh boy...**BLUSH** LOL!

Yeah tried that drink when I was in Munich. Also I have a pic of a German mother giving this concoction to her 2 or 3 year old baby girl. Everybody drinks in Germany around Oktoberfest, even toddlers.

I was joking Rich. Both pics are very nice. Cute couple.

I actually thought that it was cool. I wasn't freaked out at all. People are more laid back about these types of things in Europe.
