no noa2 yet :( when will this pain end

i remember my wait, it wasnt long ago, i came here because i was really going mad with the wait and nothing whatsoever from them...until i got a text message telling me that they have approved it and sent the notice...did you check on the case status search online? how about you give them a call and see what they say..?

Wife's Adjustment of Status,EAD and AP:

09/05/09: POE- New York City

10/23/09: Marriage

02/19/10: Mailed AOS,EAD and AP via FedEx to Chicago Lockbox

02/23/10: FedEx online tracking confirmed delivery of AOS,EAD and AP at Chicago Lockbox

03/02/10: Check cashed

03/05/10: Received NOA1 for I495, AP and EAD (says it was done 3/2/2010)

03/12/10: Received NOA2 Biometrics letter. Appointment date: 03/22/10 (letter notice date: 03/08/10)

03/17/10: Received email/text message stating that CASE SENT TO CSC ON 03/16/10

03/26/10: Received notice AP has been approved and a notification has been mailed to me.

03/31/10: Received notice for EAD production

04/02/10: Received AP

04/05/10: Received EAD card

SO THIS FRIDAY I'M CALLING THE NVC TO FIND OUT IF THE PACKET LEFT TO THE US EMBASSY IN LIMA... ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW/WHAT TO ASK AND HOW TO COMMUNICATE WITH THEM SO I CAN GET THE MOST OUT OF THEM IN REGARDS TO PACKET 3?

oh shoot i forgot about the caps...i dont want someone to be angry about it again lol ... teh internetz lol...

one day i want to go to germany and have some of that beer... i tried some german beer that my dad got from a friend who just came back from there and it was DELICIOUS... im still craving it and i had that bottle about 6 years ago lol.

Best wine was this one i had in Peru...i'm still regretting not bringing at least a couple of bottles :(

I can tell you for sure that Germany is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! I went to Oktoberfest in Munich 2 years ago. GOOD TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!

So, some venting.

Our application is still at NVC. When I just called, she said, "it's still under review. It's not unusual, but call every couple of days." And I thanked her and started to ask about the average processing time (curious as to what they're trained to say versus what's reported online, etc) and she's HUNG up on me! Boo for her.

Also, can I say that the automated voice when you call NVC has a voice that I find very annoying! Anyone else notice that?

Why do some reviews take longer than others? Any particular reason or is it similar to USCIS, where there's little rhyme or reason. Neither of us have a particularly common name. He did live here for 4 years...Has anyone else found that that slows things down? Possibly just bad luck.

For those whose appls are already at Embassy, how long did it take at NVC? I know it hasn't been THAT long, but I just want to hear that it's been sent already!

Needforspeed and Roman - German beer is the ONLY beer I drink! I lived there for four years and LOVED it!! I want to go back someday....probably when we make a trip to the Netherlands we'll drive to Germany for a few days! :dance:

Paulaner is one of my favs too! The one I liked best I dont think you can get here...it was made at a monestary in the town I lived in...it was a very dark, smoked beer...it was delicious!!!

Dark Paulaner is quite dark. I like it better than Paulaner lager.
