Roman I have once been a victim of this scam. Luckily I was able to get help and get in recovery. Of course I was only in the "relationship" phase of the scam. I now need to go home and take a shower and wash away my shame. :cry:

I know what you are saying. This date rape drug epidemic is out of control.

February 18 , 2009 - Touched

June 3, 2009 - NOA2 (Hardcopy June 8, 2009)

July 13, 2009 - Medical (Completed)

July 14, 2009 - Interview (PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

July 20, 2009 - Visa Received

August 9, 2009 at 4:25 pm - Arrived safely in JFK airport

September 25, 2009 - Getting Married

October 31, 2009 - Wedding Day

:goofy::goofy: Seriously guys, I think I need to be on meds. I can not concentrate on anything today! I have checked my email, my case status online, and igors list at least 150 times. Oh, BTW, no one with my NAO1 date has been approved, although people after us have been approved. So maybe the person handling our case went on vacation or something! I also printed out pics of my SO and myself and hung them in my office, and I made a list of things I need to do for the week. But that's about the extent of my productivness. The quarter and the fiscal year just ended so I have plenty of things I should be doing.....but I think I am going to rearrange my office instead. I'm on the 4 floor and there are 2 green parotkeets that sit on my window sill and make out all day. They are so adorable...maybe I'll just watch them for awhile ......

my BH is nervous about the medical... they have to look at her cookie and she is a little uncomfortable with it. Blood test and mental health are the easy part. Moving past this will be a milestone!

Oksana said shes not really looking forward to that part at all. She said it wouldn't be a problem if it was her normal doctor, but since it will be a different doctor that she doesn't know shes not happy about it.

:rofl: I never heard it called a cookie before. I'm going to start using that.

You know in USA we are programed to go start going to that Dr. at a young age...but I've noticed in alot of other countries women don't go untill they are preggers or maybe even never. Your support is helping her tons, I'm sure!!

I'm marrying a muslim man. And I recently learned having a man as this Dr. is not acceptable so I also have to find a new one...no fun!

My SO went thru something even worse during his medical...in Cuba every male has to be part of the military before going to college and the only excuse not to go has to be medical...so when he was 18 he was able to obtain a doctor's letter excusing him from the military due to "mental disorders"....he never thought this could backfire...when he went to his medical and had to go see the psychologist...she told him she was not gonna sign the paperwork due to this "mental disorder".....he explained the situation to her.....telling her it was a lie so he could be excuse and this and that...we all know this could be a reason for the denial of the visa...he told me that she tortured him for 3 hrs and he was beggin and crying...at the end all she wanted was money..so he paid her and she signed....

I forgot to tell u guys that story....

That sucks Maire, but at least she was willing to sell him his clearance.

yep thats Cuba...but she couldve just be honest since the beginning and ask for money...not torture him for 3 hrs..those people in Cuba abuse their power....

I wonder if they ask about this at the interview..or it will be ok as long as she signed all papers...
