i have a question.....myself and SO are looking up info about next step in the process. when it comes to affidavit of support does he file the I-134 and send it to me for the interview or does he fill out the I-864 and send it to NVC. i thought it was the I-134 for K-1....any advice guys

Perhaps this is a "rebound" of sorts. Makes you feel better being away from him by being with her. But it is a stab in the back to your SO. Think about if he had someone on the side while waiting. How would you feel?

You should not being doing any of this for society or family... this is about you... this life is yours and you should do what makes you happy....

iam not a bad person...at all Derek....I have never been in this situation...and it totally sucks...

You definitely are not a bad person. But as Derek said, you would be furious if your SO would have somebody on the side. It's like that saying "Treat people how you want to be treated" or something to that effect.

I dont have anyone on the side on purpose..i saw her after a long time and I still feel the same...thats all

I know you don't have anybody on the side. I am not sure if he will see it that way. That's why everyone here is saying that it would be best if you would cut her out of your life completely. That's if you decided that you want to be with your SO.

hope both your interviews go great. i cant wait until we are at that stage, although i think i will be nervous also, kinda like the last hurdle to get over. i bet you will be doing alot of :dance: when it is all over, i know i will be :star:
