They are closed today. The letter was written to me and it did have all my information, including the application type of I-129f. Then in the content of the letter it mentions the I-130. It's just an example of how disorganized they are. I'll call monday and see if I can speak with a supervisor.

well in that case, it doesnt put USCIS in any good light. its bad enough having to go through this long process and here we see screw ups that are not even "our" fault. hope u get THEIR mix up sorted after the holiday :)

Derek that just kills me. I feel bad for the people who haven't been approved yet. Especially the ones in our little family here. That being said I am so thankful that we have ours, because I wouldn't want to be tied up with USCIS any longer than we already were. I hope they can get it straightened out for whoever that actually belongs to.

I just want my hard copy for my records. I don't want any issues when I do the AOS. You would think they would have better records. It's funny how they sent it along and NVC sent it to the Embassy and USCIS can't even record it so it can be properly retrieved. Blows my mind!

I got my NOA2 hard copy in the mail. I was sent an e-mail approval last Thursday and it arrived 8 days later. Not everyone gets the e-mail notification so I suspect a few of us who haven't gotten their approvals may definitely be on the way.

It does feel really good to have the hard copy in hand. :dancing:

I am sure at some point they are going to figure it out and get it to you Derek. I completely understand what you mean about USCIS, because truth be told I am relieved to have it in hand. I know I was approved, but I have the "until its in my hands something could go wrong mentality". They messed up your address change right?

Yes they did. And I have that "something could go wrong" feeling. I want a little peace of mind. We are close to getting everything finished and I know the NOA2 is not needed until AOS. But USCIS is in bad shape and I just want to wash clean of them!

I typed mine. I wanted it to be legible since I write like a really smart 5 year old. I wrote out all the names fully. I didn't want to get an RFE, because I didn't type in the full name. Bare in mind that these forms are going to USCIS and not the embassy in your fiance's country. They may not know what the abbreviation stands for. Good luck on your journey and just know that it is a long process and patience will serve your sanity well.
