And everytime I get close to my estimated timeline, it moves back several days. I just want to get through this stage without losing my mind.

I am very bitter this morning. Regardless of when her intertview is Oksana won't be coming until the end of September. Her best friend is getting married and she is in the wedding. She asked me if I minded and of course I said she should stay for her friend, but really I want to be selfish and have her blow her friends wedding off. I din't say it, but thats how I feel. I'll get over it, but today I am just well I don't know the right words for it, but you know.

Lee, any chance you can fly out and attend the wedding? That might help make the time go by...

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope that those who are still waiting for NOA2 get theirs this week. Wouldn't that be a nice present for Independence day weekend. And for those who got theirs already, it interview time now. Just a bit longer and this journey is over. Then, party at Maire's house. MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOJJJJJIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It just doesn't make sense financially. I would rather just suffer an additional month than travel for two days just to get there. I am not the biggest fan of flying. I would rather save the vacation time for when she gets here.

That is a smart move Lee. I wanted to fly to Ukraine, so I could be there for the interview with Marina. But it makes more sense to save vacation time for when she gets here.

7 hours is rough, but once you get to India and going east that's when you really feel the time difference.

Dave I am in the same boat with you. We have an eleven hour time difference. It just makes thing a bit more difficult than they need to be. The worst is when we wake the other up. I have mixed emotions because I am happy to hear from her, but man do I hate being woke up.

Well, it is not *too* bad...no phone calls at work So I can try (usually with not great results) to concentrate on my work instead of think about my sweetie and this whole process.

Jenny is really considerate and understanding, and pays attention to the time difference, so she does not (usually) wake me

I hear you thought about traveling for the wedding...I don't mind the travel, but I have limited vacation, and I want to save some for when she is here. We made an agreement that I would come for either her interview or to accompany her here - she chose for me to accompany her, so my next trip will be to go spend some time with her family in her province then bring her back here. But I will only have about 9 or 10 days for the trip including pretty much 3 days of flying.... If I had more vacation time, I would not mind spending the extra money - if I could stay for 3 weeks, the 3 days on planes would not be so bad...
