How does the process go? Are there representatives per region? Asian reps, european reps? Why does it seem so sporatic? I'm sure there are not too many answers to these questions but holy cow this is hard. I try not to think about it during the day so I don't go crazy. I can't get on here and check USCIS all the time, I can't stew in this. I am hopeful I will be one of the lucky ones that has a fast NOA2. It takes a lot of inner strength to do this. VJ is full of strong folks! One day this will be a memory to us all!

This might help with some of your questions. It's older and I'm not sure how much is valid for another service center. But I took some things from it, like how each worker will get a box and start going through them. That would explain "touches" before approvals, and also explain why you see various blocks of folks getting approved (sometimes before an earlier block). At any rate, it'll pass some time between looking for updates on Igor's list :)

I never would have believed my journey to happiness would begin with something called an "I-129F"

03/19/09 - I-129F Sent

03/20/09 - NOA1 (rec'd harcopy 3/26/09)

03/24/09 - Check cleared

03/25/09 - Touched

8/12/09 - Touched (4 hours before NOA2 email)

8/12/09 - NOA2 email received

***Received email at noon (Weds)

***USCIS site did update with the status

***Was 113 on Berkeley list; 156 on VJ list

Well today was not the day. I however agree with D_n_M and that we are all strong. This whole process is annoying and time consuming, but it is certainly trying my patience. I am certain that this week will be a good one.

Holy ####### Maire! Why was he following you? Thankfully he didn't catch you.

I would just like them to pick up the pace. I would like them to power through January applications and get right on to February. Mainly because I don't want to have to go to Russia again in the wintertime. I am a floridian through and through. I have seen snow and had my first white christmas. I found the entire experience to be overrated. Where is everyone else?
