Lee and Derek you both had some kind of Russian training in drinking, but generally Vodka is used in mixed drinks in the States.

They're ok, but I have to be in the mood. I just think its weird to eat them after drinking vodka.

One time when Oksana and I were at a nightclub in Novosibirsk. Some of the locals foind out I was an American and dragged me to the bar and started buying me shots of Jack Daniels. Apparently they thought that is what all Americans drink. Totally untrue and Jack straight up is gross. It was a very long night for me.

That is true. Jack Daniels is gross. I am a cognac person myself. But a cold shot of Vodka will also do. Pickles kill the taste of Vodka after you take a shot. So it only obvious that they would be a great pair.

I'm one of the weird American's that don't care for Vodka. Give me tequila anytime!! :-)
