It's funny that it seems no matter where your SO is from, you get such obscure references made about them.

The most idiotic by far I've been asked "Oh, he's from Greece...is he greeeasy?"

I don't even think it's worth getting annoyed at.. no one from the states knows him obviously. He's never been here before :P.

Could be worse... I get all the POLLOCK jokes! Which I don't mind since i am also half Polish... and yes... I am also half Blond...

so if 1/2 + 1/2 + 1/2 doesn't add up... you will understand more about me :)

Thats just really cheesy.

I stopped being annoyed a long time ago. My roommate has actually been funny about it and it really is just making me laugh. I laugh at stupid things like that though. I mean Airplane is one of my favorite movies if that gives you an idea.

a classic! right up there with Caddy Shack! My personal ALL-TIME fav!

And Yes, I picked a bad day to stop sniffing glue!

Surely you can't be serious?

You got a telegram from headquarters today.

Headquarters--what is it?

Well, it's a big building where generals meet, but that's not important right now.

Ladies and gentleman, this is your stewardess speaking. We regret any inconvenience the sudden cabin movement might have caused. This is due to periodic air pockets we encountered. There's no reason to be alarmed and we hope you enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?

Joey, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?

I'm half dutch, but never been there or anything like that. I think the story goes that my Mom was a little dutch baby that was adopted by Americans, named Grandma and Grandpa Carlson, who are Swedish... :P. Other than that I'm Irish/English variant.

1/2 Dutch + 1/2 English/Irish = family of very tall lanky pale children :P.
