Ok, honestly I know what you mean. It's weird that I picture the giant man in the movie "Happy Gilmore" with the nail in his head and the shirt that says "Guns don't kill people, I kill people"

But joking aside, I think that you're a nice guy. I don't think you'd be such a creepy uncle.

hey guys,

after reading in a thread yesterday that NVC had some applications even though NOA2's had not been sent out, i got very VERY excited thinking ours may be one of them. i rang and wishful thinking, we were told to contact USCIS, they ahd not received our file yet. ah well, now i know there is someone on the other end of the phone in NVC i am going to plague them with calls until i hear those delightful words, "yes ma'am your application is here".

PLEASE DON'T plague them with calls!! From your NOA1 date, you are perhaps weeks ahead of where the USCIS processing is (the latest NOA1 date that has been approved is still 2 weeks ahead of your date). The NVC is a helpful organization helping us out when we call, even though it is NOT their responsibility or something they have *ANY* visibility or control! If they get to many calls from us about what the USCIS is doing, they will just turn this *OFF*.

my bad, advice taken on board. i guess it was one way of finding out some information, not knowing is the killer.

Trust me, we know how that feels! It is annoying that they seem to be going back to H1B processing or something...I wish they would work on our applications...

This is going to sound so stupid, but its kind of funny. So I talk to Oksana on webcam and my roommate heard her voice the other day and now he is convinced that she is a spy. He has no reason obviously to think such a stupid thought. However he keeps sending me really funny texts. He wants me to watch all of the James Bond movies again so I won't trust Russians. Its really funny and has been keeping my spirits up even though its so dumb.
