Hi Rich!!!

What is the average wait time for the interview in Netherlands?????

About 5 weeks....what about in the Ukraine? We're going to slow down things just a bit, Patrick won't be able to get the medical done until the end of July (only gets paid once a month) so we don't want the interview until sometime in mid-August. I'll be sending him the paperwork from here and then he'll send out the forms he got in packet 3 sometime late next week.

Hugs, Liz

My buddy just went through the consulate in Rio, everything that his SO had to get for the interview did not have to be translated. They speak both portuguese and english, and in fact at the interview asked him if he would rather speak english or portuguese when they asked him questions.

I thought every original document retrieved from the beneficiary's country should be translated... that's what it said in the packet 3.5 that they sent out... I guess every consulate is different

At least for the Warsaw consulate they say everything either in Polish need NOT be translated.

Wow!! That's great! You'll have her home in no time!!!!

In the Netherlands things like the birth cert. and divorce papers have to be translated...but when you order them you can get what they call the "international" version and has it translated into about five different languages.

In Cuba is the same...at the embassy they speak both English and Spanish and nothing needs to be translated...and they also ask u if u want to speak Spanish or English...

I think they do that at every embassy. They understand that not everybody will able to speak or understand English fluently.

I am getting concerned people. My approval is still at NVC. I really hope I am not a chosen one for AP. I'll call again tomorrow but its been there for almost a week now.
