How come I did not receive the NOA2 yet, while so many of you did receive?

I filled the I-129F in February and only received the NOA1.

But since my father passed away last month, it is really hard to live in the States just me and my mother. I contacted the USCIS but they denied the process of quickening my fiancee's I-129F. I already will be back in my former country to be with my fiancee, next month and I will come back in August, but it would really make my life and my mom's life easier if my fiancee came with us. Is there anyway to quicken this process??

Thank you.

I am sorry to hear about you father. I hope you and your family are doing ok.

Unforynately there are only a few ways to qualify for an expedite. However, I wouldn't worry too much since you filed just after me and I haven't gotten my NOA2 yet either. They are doing the first half of February now and they should be getting to ours pretty soon.

Ooo I was just talking to my step-mom about the wedding! (They are going to help pay ..woot!) We want something pretty small, and there is a little harbor near where I live and a boat house... But then I'm thinking.... He'll get here in January, and I don't think dead trees and iced water is so pretty. Need new ideas now..

We are doing a small wedding. Probably going to rent a beach house and set everything up from there. I would like to point out how cheap I am at this moment and tell everyone how proud of it I am. Between friends of mine who either own businesses or are partners in them I already have the DJ, catering, booze and a bartender for signifigantly less than what it should be. Oksana is very understanding in my hatred of wearing shoes and has already agreed that an outdoor wedding in Florida is worthy of wearing sandals. Now if I could just find a cheap cake maker....

Morning Rich!!

We're hoping to keep it small but I come from a big family so we'll see how it goes...hehe! The place we want to have it at is a gorgeous Bed & Breakfast right on the famous San Antonio Riverwalk! I can't wait!

Very, very small for us. We were originally just going to do city hall (NYC revamped it this past year and it's actually pretty nice), but now that his fam will be here for the holidays we're thinking of doing a VERY VERY VERY small church ceremony in another state (where I went to school) for basically immediate family and perhaps a few friends. Given that it will be in late December, most probably couldn't come anyway. Will see how the church one goes though, not sure if we'll be able to fulfill all the Catholic Church requirements in time...

Our plans are to have a very small one. Once we are able to properly plan and invite everyone we will do a large one in a church with all the trimmings!! Invite all her family and friends from Europe. That will be in a year or 2.
