she isn't notarizing anything. Flying there is much more expensive, a few grand minimum... I'm still contemplating that.

She should notarize her translated birth certificate. I know for a fact that you need that. I will find out from my lawyer if any other docs need to translated and/or notarized.

Nothing needs to be notarized. She just needs a stamp that its a court certified translation. Just an Ink stamp. We already know where to go. It will cost about $12 per page.

Ok. I am not going to argue. If that is the way you want to do it and it works for you, great.

There is no argument. Nothing about this entire process needs to be notarized. That would indicate a raised stamp and signature. No one is requiring that. Thanks for your concern.

How come I did not receive the NOA2 yet, while so many of you did receive?

I filled the I-129F in February and only received the NOA1.

But since my father passed away last month, it is really hard to live in the States just me and my mother. I contacted the USCIS but they denied the process of quickening my fiancee's I-129F. I already will be back in my former country to be with my fiancee, next month and I will come back in August, but it would really make my life and my mom's life easier if my fiancee came with us. Is there anyway to quicken this process??

Thank you.

-February 17th, 2009 I-129F application sent

-February 19th, 2009 I-129F arrived in Vermont

-February 26th, 2009 received NOA1

-June 30th, 2009 NOA2 approved

-July 29, 2009 Medical exam passed

-September 3, 2009 Interview passed!!!
