February 18 , 2009 - Touched

July 13, 2009 - Medical (Completed)

July 14, 2009 - Interview (PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

July 20, 2009 - Visa Received

August 9, 2009 at 4:25 pm - Arrived safely in JFK airport

September 25, 2009 - Getting Married

October 31, 2009 - Wedding Day

I am really not down. I feel confident that mine is well on its way. I called NVC to see if mine was in, but its not there yet. I filed a few days after you guys though. I am very happy for all of you guys and I know that mine will be here very soon.

Lee - Did you actually talk to someone or just enter your receipt number? When i called yesterday and entered the number it didn't show in their system but when i talked to an operator she told me it had already been sent to Amsterdam.

Quick question for those that called NVC.....did you get a tracking number for your package?

Quick question for those that called NVC.....did you get a tracking number for your package?

Here's a tip I copied down for when our case goes to NVC, to track your package to the embassy.

How to track your case from NVC to Embassy:

When you know from NVC that your case was forwarded to embassy (mm/dd/yyyy) lets take an example case that was forwarded to embassy on March 20th 2009.

1 ~ Go to DHL TRACK

2 ~ Under track list, click on Track By Reference

3 ~ Type the reference in this format: EXP19MAR2009A, below that enter a date range and click track.

4 ~ A list of packages will come up and you can search for the city of your Consulate and it will show details.

03/19/09 - I-129F Sent

03/20/09 - NOA1 (rec'd harcopy 3/26/09)

03/24/09 - Check cleared

03/25/09 - Touched

8/12/09 - Touched (4 hours before NOA2 email)

8/12/09 - NOA2 email received

***Received email at noon (Weds)

***USCIS site did update with the status

***Was 113 on Berkeley list; 156 on VJ list

No I just entered it at the automated system. They said they had no record and that was it. You actually spoke to someone?

Right...that's what I got from the automated system too. I think you can just press 5 and it'll get you to an operator.

Yeah lee.... talk to someone... the NVC is NOT USCIS... they actually speak and are fairly friendly... If they start asking you names, b-days, emails... they have your case. Its pretty black and white over there. When I first called they had nothing on me, when I called yesterday I knew I was approved because she asked for our names, b-days, emails..etc...

Oh Lee B...I typed that a while back that the NVC does not recognize K1s on the automated system. Please call back and speak with someone. You can give them your ENC # and tell them that you are looking for a status update. Best wishes.

Jan 19, 2010 ~~ Reply to RFE delivered to Lee's Summit, MO @ 5:03 PM signed for by "C BUCHHOLZ"

Jan 20, 2010 ~~ USCIS acknowledged receipt of RFE on I-485 only

Jan 22, 2010 ~~ I-131 AP and I-765 EAD approved (email notice on 1/25/10)

Jan 28, 2010 ~~ USCIS email that I-485 was transferred to CSC on 1/26/10

Jan 30, 2010 ~~ Received EAD and AP via US Postal Service

Feb 01, 2010 ~~ Received notification of case transfer via USPS

May 07, 2010 ~~ Email notification that card production ordered for 1-485

Jun 01, 2010 ~~ Greencard finally arrives w/approval date 2/23/10 (Huh??)
