Can i ask u guys a question? at any point given did u guys think something was not right or that may be u were doing the wrong thing by spending so much money and wasting so much time for someone that might never appreciate it like u think they do?

I am asking this cus...I am starting to...I dont know if the waiting, stress or what it is..but I am not feeling it today..I am feeling like I am spending so much money..dont do a damn thing, dont go anywhere and who knows may be when he gets here things would change like all those horror stories I have read here in VJ forums.

This happened to me today(actually just now)..I called my mother-in-law who also lives here...and she tells me that my fiance went to another city(in Cuba) to take his "passport pictures" that we are going to need for the interview...(keep in mind we dont even have a NOA2 yet) so I tell her how come? I have not advise him to do so and he does not even know how many do we need....she stayed quiet....however, at the same time she doesnt know i have her e-mail account info(well she asked me once to create her an account and i kept the password)...I went into it and he had sent her an email saying he was going to another city to go to a bday party with a friend....after we spoke on the telephone she emailed him saying that when i call him tomorrow he needs to say that he went for the passport pictures...imagine how frustrated iam..why would she lie to me...I would not get mad for him going to a bday party....so then why telling me that he went to take pictures? I call him every wed night and tomorrow when I do it will be a big eye opener to me...I will find out if he would lie to me for something soo stupid...i hope i am not disappointed...

what do u guys think? I am soo frustrated right now

you sure he doesn't have another girlfrind or something. one of my clients told me a story of what happened to her. she married a guy froim jamaica and when she went to see him he didn't get any phone calls or anything. but when he did he would pick it up immediately. well it turns out she gets a call from his girlfriend telling her everything they did together. i am going through tthe same thing maire. i feel so unappreciated and i spent a lot of money to be with her.

sorry i made a long story short. lol. but what iw as trying to say was the girlfriend knew everything about the wife and when the wife called him he wouldnt pick up the phone all night long and say he slept but shen the wife was with him he picked up right away. and the gf told her all the things that the wife and the husband did together and told her that he married her to get the gf in this country also. so u never know

How would we ever know if its for real or a convenience? How would I ever know if its LOVE or I am simply a Visa? Why would his mother tell me he is going to get passport pics..I would not get mad if she tells me he went to a party...! Or may be iam just reading too many stories in the forums here...I dont know...I have put so much effort, time, money on this...that it would kill me to realize iam the only one that have fallen in love...

you never know. my relationship is the same way. i am going through this also with my fiance and we are fighting like crazy. breaking it off with each other basically every day. i can't answer that question because like you i feel the same way as you do and you have your doubts. that is the only problem. i have spent so much money it would make your head spin. i am so good to her and i get nothing in return i feel. and after a while you just wonder.

Or perhaps one also tends to put the stress and pressure of this horrible process on each other...i dont know anymore

Could be. But a lie is a lie. that has nothing to do with stress. but there could be a logical reason why she lied. you never know but all i can say is just be careful.

maire you are not alone. believe me i have been wondering for a long time now. i would tell you stories and you would wonder why am i still doing this. but i wont on here..lol

Aww, I'm sorry its such a stressful day for you Maire!

I wish I had some wise advise to give you but all I can say is to see what happens tomorrow when you talk to him and go from there. I've been lucky that I haven't had any doubts with my relationship with Pat....I feel for you though as I went through 16 years of hell with my ex-husband.

I hope that he tells you the truth tomorrow so you won't have to worry about this anymore!
