Well i am going with my theory about the mail. i heard it depends on the state where u are from and it could take longer. but D N M is from florida also and the same time and hasn't received his. there are one from georgia and one from louisiana but the other two i have no idea but only one person was approved from the tenth. so let's see.

So based on that, supposedly I should receive mine fairly quick. Vermont is basically in my backyard.

well the distance factor....makes a lot of sense....

i owuld assume it goes by date and the location. so yes u are on the 12th so this week u should receive yours. unless there is something not right with it. then that is a whole other ballgame. i also think its based on where the person is coming from. there are a lot of risky countries. so i think they take this all in account. because two people i have talked to received there noa2 and they were both from brazil and the NVC held it up for two to three months. in fact one guy was down in brazil trying to straighten it out. so i think that goes into play also.

But in any case it still seems like it is taking longer than usual. If I send a letter of package to Florida it does not take an entire week to get there.

well figure the 31st was a sunday roman. by the time they mailed everything figure it would take monday or tuesday. so yes to florida it can take that long or they approved it the week of the first. i figure that based on vj that they approve on vj alone an average of 10 - 14 on a good week. so the week of the 25th which was a holiday count how many they approved on vj. so now u have the week of june 1st.

I know what you are saying. Certain countries are scrutinized more than others.

i just checked igors list and based on the information and of course a margin of error. if those dates are correct there were thirteen approved for the week of may 25th. but i do believe the other two were may 25th week also even though they say 6/03 and 6/04 but who knows. then if they do another 10-14 for last week then based on that we should hear this week or next week if everyone filled in their timelines and if they don't go abck and approve people that are waiting from prior months. but even so we should hear by next week the latest.

i don't know if i am right Liz. but i have been studying the approvals the last few weeks and this is what it averaged except for the beginning of may for some reason. but the end of the month they seem to pour it on so i wouldnt be surprised to see a lot more may 31st approvals like what happened in april. so some of us will say may 31st approvals on it. i am sure about it.

Because may 31st was a sunday. so they must have some kind of quota by the end of the month to push the approvals. i am not sure about that. so someone is doing those letters and putting down those dates of may 31st.

I think VSC has finally kicked into gear. My dat was the 17th so I may be waiting another week, but even so this gives me all kinds of optimism. Especially with minimule getting her approval already.

It seems like in the last 2 weeks, there were a lot of approvals. The percentage of approvals in February (on Igor's list) has jumped from 10 to 20 percent in past two weeks.

I think the process is all based on what your favorite color is.

Oh dang...then someone at VSC better like purple!

Rich - I know...it's only a best guess that any of us can make!

Lee - our timeline jumped really good too....right now it says between June 9 and June 15th!

i am trying to stay optimistic so i don't go crazy also.

You are doing a good job Rich. Staying positive is key.

Also the way I see it, this website is informative and it gives approximate timelines (which helps). But more importantly I find that it helps people in other more important ways, it gives people support when they are feeling down and think that this nightmare will never end.
