I saw the trend of approvals in the graphic and it seems that VSC and CSC are polar opposites. Look at the graph and you will see. When one is up the other is down they almost mirror each other.

Maire.... in response to your situation... you have to understand that there are some fears that guys have and that is not getting the girl they want. So your SO and his family probably didn't tell you about this because of the fear of losing you. To be honest with you, I don't think it is because of the visa. Really, if you keep in touch with him through phone calls, or messenger, don't doubt him. It is wrong of the mother in law to allow that girl to come in the house. Who knows, your SO is probably angry at his mom for allowing this to happen yelling at her left and right, but it's hard for you to see that cause of the distance. Sometimes actions don't tell you everything. The continuation of the girl visiting is the mother in law's fault, and hopefully once your SO comes here... everything will be sorted out. Slowly everything will fall into place.

As for the mother in law....well she's in a difficult position as well. Its her best friend's daughter...really what is she supposed to do? Tell her best friend..."I'm sorry but since your daughter slept with my son X number of years ago and he's now getting married she can't come over to my house anymore"

As for the person who "HAD" to tell you....seriously...####### is their problem? Like your SO said...its the past...why bring it up and toss it in your face like that.

Your mother in law probably assumed that it was the past and that you'd never know so it would never hurt you.

well our town in Cuba is so small...that everyone knows everyone...and I guess they told me since this girl is going over there this summer and there were rumors that she is going to see him...

I just pray for this process to be over...cus the drama is putting so much pressure on me..I had to set aside that incident on my first day in Cuba and try to take advantage of my time with him as much as possible....and this is tough...cus in one side is the pain of this and on the other 10days to try to be happy....I had to forget it and pretend like I didnt care cus I had missed him so much...

you continue being the sweetheart you are to him, whether you heard about the rumor or not. Continue believing in him... don't let some girl change your heart. Sometimes they do this on purpose just to get you in a bad mood to get into a fight with your fiance so your fiance can leave you. Point is, don't let any of this change your character and stress yourself out.
