My problem Maire is with her calling today. I am sure i am being pessimistic about it but is she calling because she wants her son to come here and saying anything to you so that he does. or is she really sincere and going to do what she said or still continue to sneak around. How is your relationship with her? Does she really like you or do you feel that she is just one of those people to sugarcoat things?

again i am happy that she called but it makes you wonder because like i said before this is the second time and she already lied to you once.

I'm so glad I don't have in-law problems. I am a private person too. No one is even allowed to come over unannounced, 6 blocks away or not. It's an invasion of privacy as far as I'm concerned. A quick phone call to say 'here I come' is all thats necessary.

Oh my...there were 5-10 pages to go through before I could find the end... I think it was adding pages as I went through the previous ones!

I was living in Greece for 6 months with my SO parents! He had just finished with his university and was living back with them when I went to meet him. They are very loving people and made me feel very welcome.

Then it came to the idea of me STEALING her boy to come to the states! She's much more at ease with it now and actually misses me!

Maire, I would also suggest the idea of moving. If you've ever watched "Every body loves Raymond" you will know that 6 blocks is not enough. Make it 10 miles :D.

01/23/2009 ----------Leave Athens and my Honey for the processes to begin

02/10/2009 ----------Beginning of Greek Military Obligations for 11 months

03/21/2009 ----------Stationed to Rhodes

07/16/2009-----------Meeting in Spain for 6 days!

08/27/2009-----------Stationed to Nevrokopi

01/10/2010-----------Gets OUT of the Army!

02/16/2010-----------Interview!

02/24/2010-----------Lampros arrives in WA!!!

He didn't just want me long, he wanted me a little longer than forever... :3

I know you guys love me and miss me...even Maire Claire. Surgery is on the 11th.

Maire chica...your issue is not with the MIL or the ex-girl on the side. It is with your SO. You guys are getting ready to start a lifetime partnership. He should NEVER have you a$$ed out...or the only one in the dark on the situation. Had he prepared you with the history and the knowledge, you would not have been thrown for a loop when the gossip mill ran to you with the story. Your faith and trust in your SO would not have taken a hit because he kept you in the partnership.

You need to let HIM know that you don't want to be clueless about situations like these. However, when he confides in you...you have to be able to sort through the facts and know that it is his past and it will remain there. Everything will work out the way it is destined to work out.

Amen to that...and I will...the less I see them and the less they are involved in my life with him...the better it will be...

The same thing that's been going on with VSC over the last couple months. You should just tell yourself you will not get an approval until next thursday. That gives you 8 days to be excited. That way you wont spend all day wondering if it will be in your mailbox.

Sorry! I guess driving yourself crazy everyday with the same result is better? How many grey hairs are sprouting because you choose to spend every minute dwelling. It's not too healthy.

I think it has to do with the fact that they did not set up their timeline page. But I could be wrong.
