Damn, I got so excited when I saw an email today from USCIS, until I realized it was just a message about an updated form. RATS!

I'm sorry.

Hey, did anyone else get this e-mail? I'm signed up for e-mail updates but I have not recieved any. So I wonder if that means that I will be one of the people who never recieves any e-mail or status changes but one day NOA2 is magically in mail box. Was the form anything important that we need to know about?

Help! I'm obsessing over all the things I probably did wrong with my application. Is anyone else going through this?

For example:

1.) I sent in the copy of my divorce decree that our lawyer had sent to me. It was not signed by the judge, only had his name stamped in. After joining visa journey and reading that is a big no-no I contacted courthouse and had a certified and signed copy mailed to me so it's ready to go when the RFE comes in.

2.) I didn't label any of our pictures. How are they supposed to know that that is me with his mom, dad, sister, ect.?

3.) I only gave a one sentence answer as to how we met, which was online. I didn't say where online. I didn't say when online.

4.) In my letter of intent I wasn't clear about getting married within 90 days. I just said as soon as possible.

Anyway, those are all I can think of right now. It actually just felt better writing them down and seeing that they are easilly fixable. I don't expect to get denied because of them, maybe just a little delayed. And what's a few days when we have the rest of our lives together. Is anyone else having similar worries??

I think I have to request expedite again for the interview, I will wait to see what the date is they give us first.

Best of luck to you!!! Hopefully your embassy interview will be given on a timely basis so you don't have to bother with the expedite process all over again for them. Keep us udated on your progress!

Yesterday I noticed that they are approving a LOT from January already at CSC. Why can't VSC work the same way? Or why don't I live West of the MS river?! In the last week, my estimated approval time just keeps getting pushed back.

Our estimated approval dates are doing the same. We started yesterday with an estimate of June 23....today we're back to June 29! Come on VSC!!!
