I think Maire is pretty sad. I can imagine how depressing it is. When I left my SO the last time it was very heartbreaking.

Maire, I hope you feel better soon. If anyone understands it's your extended family here on VJ

Yes, I think so as well, despite our valiant efforts in dazzling her with humor.

Yeah ...the kids and I went to visit my SO in March for 2 weeks. Leaving was brutal for all of us. I don't know who felt worse...him having to drive off and leave me standing there with 3 crying kids or me standing there with 3 crying kids. Maybe it was the poor guy that had to deal with us and take our luggage.....

Anyways...you guys are almost done the longest part of your wait. NOA2's should start coming in now and then Richard and I will have to move over to the March board and torment them for a month.

Get your a$$ back here Maire....we know exactly how you feel.

I just sent an email to USCIS webmasters and it went a little something like this:

Hello,

It would be extremely helpful, if USCIS would post weekly stats and updates about which visas (months of filing) they are reviewing. Because looking at processing timeframes is frustrating and it does not help people who are desperately waiting for an answer or approvals. I filed for a K-1 visa in February and as of today there is no real updates about the case. There is thousands and thousands of people that are in the same situation as me. I spoke to a lot of people that have filed for K-1 visas and they are just frustrated and angry as I am, because this visa is not just a piece of paper that people are waiting for. These are people's lives and USCIS has to understand that by delaying the process and/or not updating people in a timely fashion, makes it that much more difficult.

Thank you.

I know that I am most likely waisting my time, but for some strange/dumb reason I felt better after I sent it.

Rock on for the effort! Probably wasted effort, but I agree with the sentiment, and maybe it makes the time pass... In all likelihood the webmaster address is ignored, and even if isn't, they are likely disconnected from the process that could get the change made. Still, one can hope.
