Yes! As long as you provide a sufficient about of weight on your arms. You can also use dumbbells and with a straight arm lift the weight from your hip (directly in front of you and to the side of you) to shoulder height. Curls are good too. When you get strong enough you can use the dumbbells when you punch! Thats a good workout!

GREAT!! That will be much better for me until this knee completely heals! Is there a specific way to make sure I have the right amout of weight on my arms when I do the push ups? Should I hold them at a certain angle or something?

I have weighted gloves from my old kickboxing class...they are about 5 lbs each...would those be ok for the punches? And I'll try the straight arm lifts tonight! Thanks D_n_M...you have no idea how much I appreciate your help!!!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you all know we finally got our NOA1 hardcopy in the mail today. It's dated 2/12/09 so they issued it the day after they got our petition!

Off to update my timeline now!!

Congrats!!! ^_^ I hope everything continues to go smoothly!

*sigh..I wish CSC was as fast as VSC.

I must say that I have spent the time of my life with my SO...I cant even find words to describe what it feels like...Im depressed now...and I think even more than I was before....I dont wanna wait another 4 months to see him!

On the other hand I was dying to get back to find my NO2..and nothing...Im sorry if I make no sense....but getting back to reality its not easy...specially since we all know this kind of pain already...just wanted to say hello and that I missed u guys! :(

ps:I have been crying 12 hrs nonstop...this sucks
