I have a problem, my fiance's name is different from his Birth certificate name.

i asked him about that and he said he changed his name long time ago. im confused and afraid that i'll be questioned by the consul during my interview.

What will i do? my fiance told me that it's alright to change name in US and there is no need to change the Birth certificate, but, in form F-129 it was asked there "other name before", and he answered none.

what will i do? what do i need to do about that?

I am not a lawyer so take this with a grain of salt...

If he includes the court papers showing the name change and puts his other name in the box on DS-129 he should be ok.

I would wonder why he answered None to that question....

He should at least give you a sworn statement explaining why the names don't match, and copies of any documents he has supporting his statement.

How is the name different? Was it a clerical error, or was there a legal name change? Did just his last name change because his mother remarried?
