But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

well I can tell you I have lived in these cities: fresno , CAlif. , Lubbock Texas, Arlington Texas, Tucson AZ, near Seattle WA, Jeddah and Taif Saudi Arabia, and been to alot of other cities to visit, but the worst to me is FRESNO my place of birth, where I live now. To me its miserable ...... no jobs, gangs everywhere, etc...We are trying to get out.. helpppppp....

My mom lives there and I hear ya - I have never heard anyone say anything positive about Fresno.

eta: she actually works in Modesto, which is on the Forbes list, but is stuck with owning a house in Fresno which she can't sell(had to buy even though she wasn't in the job for long because deep inside I believe she thinks renters are 'losers'. Ironically she now rents out a small apartment in Modesto and spends a few days a week in Fresno. Now she is worried about losing her job. :(

Chicago use to be the electronic capital of the world as well as having a huge manufacturing base, and the stock yards. Today, one big office with no parking signs. Does have a beautiful lake front, wife loved it, her, our dog, and me had the entire lake front to ourselves.

Negative memories of Chicago were mostly with winds, from the SE, cough cough with all that smoke blowing in from Gary, IN, NE winds off of Lake Michigan in winter would cut right through you.

Positive memories was window shopping on State St. and man, did Marshall Fields have a huge Lionel display. We had many local shops in our neighborhood that could do anything at very reasonable prices. Even put a new tire on my tricycle. But all this is history. Did take my wife to the museums, the planetarium, the zoo, Sears Tower, and of course, that beautiful lake front. She loved it, except for the prices. Think you have to be some kind of crook to be able to live there.

Brother Nick... Chicago is not just the lakefront and the Loop.

I suggest you take your lady around town... N. Lincoln ave has good Colombian restaurants with Llanero food she may associate with Venezuela.

I do live about 5 blocks from the lake and 'I am not a crook.'

But the city IS hella-expensive.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Yeah I saw that chart on a Playboy issue called the women of seattle.... but wait weather wetness is not the kind of wetness they had in mind, nevermind.

Ha, I use to love Maxwell Street, but heard it's not there anymore. I like smaller towns, lines are short in the stores and banks and not spending my life in traffic jams. But not too small of a town, lot's of inbreeding takes place so you run into a lot of morons.

Got a local store to carry P.A.N. arepa flour for us, a little more expensive than in Venezuela, but a lot cheaper than paying shipping charges. I use to fly into Meigs Field, but that is also history. Have they finished the Dan Ryan yet? Took my motorhome down two years ago to hit the Skyway, what a mess, took us eight hours. Skyway was empty, also noted, it's falling apart.

Yeah... Maxwell street is gone. Its being overrun by higher end condos for better-off suburban kids that come in to study at UIC.

The Dan Ryan I avoid like the plague... but its done I think. The Skyway is tantamount to highway robbery. Literally. Although Cline Av is better now. But that's in Gary, IN already.

Good on the PAN flour. Yellow or white? If you come into Chicago, you can find it and Buñuelina and other Venezuelan/Colombian bread products at places like Cermak Produce stores. (Mexican groceries).

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Detroit relinquished its 2007 crown of most miserable city despite a memorable 2008 that included a jailed mayor, the further deterioration of the auto industry and the NFL's first zero-win, 16-loss season.

The Motor City benefited from our revised criteria this year (we added sales tax and sports teams in addition to corruption). Its 6% sales tax is one of the lowest in the country. The success of Detroit's winter sports teams more than offset the ineptitude of the Lions. The Red Wings and Pistons won two-thirds of their games, including a Stanley Cup title for the Wing

Reason enough to be #1 again. 0h,and add to that the shoddy, incredibly slow and attitudish Immigration field office, and the fact that K K is now a free man again.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
