dannyandchada,

it's been nearly 2 year for us so i am not much current help...it looks good though i would add to the employer letter if the position is full or part time our interviewer asked. also visit the sawasdee 3 thread which is thailand specific and people who have very recently gone through interviews can offer some current advice.

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

My husband and I just did the medical and j they only took one of my photos and returned the other two, and they never asked for any forms of past medical history nor immunizations. The exam was 2000+ Baht and the immunizations (MMR, Tetanus, and I don't remember) was 3000+ it came to about 5800 Baht. This is for Bumrungrad. You can also have it done at BNH I believe.

For evidence of having met in person when filing our K1, I had 30 pics, boarding passes and visa stamps. Some pics in front of hotel sign with hotel invoice too.

Then for our K3 after getting married we needed 50+ because Thai embassy likes more pics now (we were told). Phone call records from Vonage $10.99/mo unlimited call Asia plan - downloaded and printed out. I also added myself to the apartment rental invoice when visiting and had them stamp "paid" over my signature, I did this for 5 months payments and included them in paket.

So I think evidence of an established relationship for a K3 vs. an ongoing relationship with evidence of meeting in-person within 2 years for K1, is worth making clear.

Danny, would it be possible for you or someone else who has recently received Packet 3 for K-1 to post the letter/checklist?

There have been several mentions of changes that are not reflected on the Bangkok embassy's website. We just receieved NOA2 and want to schedule the interview ASAP. We have already assembled most of the required documents listed in Packet 3.

Thanks.
