Why do some people hate their SO's ?

half the time the really sad thing is i think that these people don't really feel the way they claim to feel about their oh but are doing it because they feel its the norm and expected to be like that, in their worped opinon of the world. I have met a few jerks who have blantently been like that. my ex and his best friend would constantly try to act like jerks (in my opinon) and make me look like (and other gf of the friend) the ball and chain or i was smothering or something, and try and big up the binge drinking lad personna, like men behaving badly from the 90s (uk sitcom) because thats what they thought they were ment to be like. thing is they were anything but lads. it gets boring after a while and i block it out. those that do this tend to wander into the realms of misogony after a few sentances and its better i ignore it so i dont blow a blood vessle

At one of my old jobs it was mostly the women being negative about men. Divorced women mostly, telling me not to get married. Either people think it's funny to joke about it, or they just want everyone to be miserable since they are.
