i set a interview date for my daugther on feb 25,09 and they send me a email message the copt of the form of interview date..and it send there follow the link for the pocket letter ( requirements for interview). the thing is doesnt say there about if i need a permission ( consent letter) of my daugther dad so i can bring her here in states? my problem is my daugther is illegitimate child.. so she under my guidance since birth.. i have a a affidavit of illegitimacy.

if no father is listed on the bc, no letter required

hello we have the same situation,,did u just call to the embassy and get her sked?did they ask u anything?im already here in us but my daughter left in phil so they said that i need to get my k2 daughter with one year as my visa issued.i been here last october 08,can u tell me what is the requirement for interview and and u will be the one to assist ur daughter in her interview or someone in ur family will assist ur daughter?im planning to get her sked on june coz im still waiting for mu advance parole so that i can pick her in phil i cant assist her in her medical at interview,do u know what to do?when u calll to get her sked what did they told as ask u?please share ur experience to me to let me know what to do..thanks in advance

Was the fathers name on your daughters BC?

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship
