How long and detailed are we talking here? Like straight to the point - 2 or 3 sentences? Or should I write a romance novel? Haha.

It says the first time we met in person. Right now I'm thinking along the lines of we met at Austin Bergstrom International Airport on May 14, 2008 where I picked him up from his flight. He spend 7 weeks with my family and me, etc...

i would attach a document and sign it stating how you met in detail and indicating the circumstances in which you have met in person. also, submit plenty of evidence, (i.e. multiple color photos, signed statements from family/friends confirming your having met in person, copies of passports showing stamps, plane tickets/ boarding passes, etc.). i was issued an rfe for not giving enough of a statement accompanied by evidence.

Here is my answer for my no questions asked petition approved in 58 days

"Returning from a trip to Odessa, Ukraine on Sept. 19, 2007, I had an overnight layover in Prague CZ Republic where by chance I met my fiancee, Alla, while we were waiting in line at the airport terminal to buy bus tickets to the city. Photo and travel documents attached." I could almost fit it into the space provided. I attached ONE photo of us together in a restraunt in Prague along with my passport stamps and boarding passes for the flight.

Remember, you are establishing that you have met, in person, at least one time within the last two years. That is all for the petition. Save the rest for the interview.

Ours was a paragraph; basically, we met on such and such date while doing such and such; then we proceeded to meet in person in such and such and such dates.

Do you think it was because you didn't send enough evidence or because your statement wasn't detailed enough? We have plenty of boarding passes and passport stamps that can be copied. And about 15 color photos of us together (is there such thing as too much?).

If that worked. That is awesome. That's about what I was thinking would work and pretty much how mine is. 58 days would be great :D

mine was not enough- one sentence and one photo. (sounds ridiculously stupid in hindsight) i guess a happy medium is best. smart move doing your research here first! good luck!

You must "satisfy" someone you will never meet and get to talk to (very important to remember, this is "remote control") that you have met your fiance in person, once, in the last two years. A photo is primary evidence you MET, now you must give primary evidence it was within the last two years. Passport stamps and boarding passes will do the trick. If I say "here is a photo of us together in Prague on Sept 19, 2007" and I can show evidence I was IN Prague on September 19, 2009 they will accept my story is true, or a least plausible, and that is what you need to do to get the petition approved, you will need more to get the VISA apprived, but that is not the concern of the guy/gal at the VSC or CSC. You only need give enough to convince them to pass it on to the next step. A brief story, one photo, and evidence you were there (or somewhere you could meet this person) is usually sufficient.
