All,

Just wondering if this is the normal course for things AOS-related. We filed for AOS for my wife and daughter in late January. Received NOA1 for daughter's I485 as well as biometrics appt. for her already. Only NOA1 for wife thus far is for her EAD. Shouldn't we have also received NOA1 for wife's I485 too? Or are their cases unrelated now? A bit confused, and of course USCIS has no information in their database yet. Thanks for any info.

It's not uncommon to receive the NOA's separately.

You could try getting both of their biometrics done on the same day... just take any documents with you.

yes, though most of the time they adjudicate around the same time they are independant.

YMMV

Thanks for the quick reply. Can my wife have biometrics even if she hasn't received her "appointment letter?" Not sure if this will be the case, but one never knows . . .
