yes, i finally got an interview date for March 17

Congratulations and best of luck for the interview. When you case was completed at NVC. PLease tel me know because mine was completed on Feb. 4 and I am still waiting. Did you call a live person or got this info on AVS.

my case completed Feb 2nd, u should get interview date for march

I am keeping my finger crossed and praying. Coud me just after you or may be the following week. There are still two working days in the last week of March.

Aman's case got completed on Feb. 3. He is ansdwiched between us. Lets se what interview date he gets.

I got my interview date! The automated system wasn't updated because I talked to an operator at 11:30 a.m. and they told me an interview had been scheduled yesterday and the necessary information mailed out. I jumped up and down, screamed, thanked the woman profusely and told her she had just made this the best day of my life, hung up the phone and hysterical laughing turned into hysterical crying. Oh, Allah is good. Thanks for all the support guys!

Congratulations and best of luck. You had a horrendous wait of almost 2 months at NVC. You have every reason to haugh and cry.

I truely doubt that I will get the interview in March. It seems like the US embassy is very busy here in Thailand. I have my hope up too high, i guess i would have to just wait.

JUST SPOKE WITH THE NVC AND THE OPERATOR TOLD ME THAT THEY WILL BE SCEDULING INTERVIEWS UNTIL NEXT FRIDAY...SO THERE IS STILL HOPE FOR OTHERS WAITING...THEY SAID THAT THE EMBASSY IN SANTO DOMINGO IS A VERY BUSY EMBASSY SO THAT USALLY TAKES 3 TO 4 MONTHS...JUST THOUGH I'D SHARE THAT WITH YOU GUYS...THERES STILL HOPE FOR THOSE WAITING!!

I hope that you are right!!! My operator told me this morning I would be lucky if I got a march interview!

I called NVC last evening and got the interview date for 31st March...just made it to March list. Looks like the consulate schedules the interviews randomly.

The operator told me today that they are still scheduling for march into the middle of next week....

Marriage : 2008-07-03

I-130 Sent : 2008-09-30

I-130 NOA1 : 2008-10-03

Dec 22 2008 Transferred to California Service Center

I-130 Approved : 2009-01-12

NVC Received : 2009-1-16

Officially in AVR : 2009-1-17 emailed scanned DS 3032

DS 3032 generated and accepted via email/ AOS I-864 generated : 2009-1-23

Received I-864 Bill : 2009-1-26

Pay I-864 Bill : 2009-1-26 status PAID 1-28

Pay IV Bill : 2009-1-26 status PAID 1-28

Send Completed I 864 and IV Package (overnight) : 2009-2-4 (had to wait for hubby's PC and original birth certificate to arrive)

Case Completed at NVC : 2009-2-11 !!!!

NVC Left : Received email March 3rd

Medical Completed : March 12, 2009

Interview Date : April 22, 2009. 8 am. VISA APPROVED!!!

Visa in Hand : April 27th, 2008!!! Arrival May 11th! POE JFK

Processing Estimates/Stats : Your I-130 was approved in 101 days from your NOA1 date. NVC completed in 26 days! Interview was 201 days from Noa 1.

The operator told me they are no longer scheduling for March. :crying: Looks like we will have to wait a bit longer but at least February is the shortest month. :wacko:
