Hey guys. I received a letter dated 1/15/09 saying the NVC will soon be forwarding the petition to visa-issuing post but Irina has not yet received her packet. This seems atypical. I also have a lawyer so was spared some of the paperwork and yes I e-mailed him and no I don't expect to hear from him anytime soon.

I called the Moscow embassy and was informed I should call back tomorrow (I think, language barrier issues) to find out when the interview was scheduled for and that the packet would only be sent out 3 weeks before the interview date. the embassy website on the other hand does not have our case number liste or an interview date set.

Don't you have to return some of the packet 3 info. before the interview is scheduled?

YES, Correct.

Have her collected/gathered all the Packet 3 documents she'll need. make at least 2 copies of each.

Once she receives Packet 3 , some of documents she'll need to mailed back documents they requested.

after that she'll get the PAcket 4.

I thought so so is 4 weeks a long time to wait for the packet 3 info? Is there a way to find out what happened to it?
