Super Mercado Rico

4506 Lorain Ave

Cleveland, OH 44102

(216) 631-1156

If you let me know what you are wanting to pick up I can make sure that they have it available. It is one my way home from work (maybe 3 blocks out of the way :)).

They did not have fresh Aji when I was there earlier. I did get some Altomayo, Inca Kola, dried aji mirasol, negrita chicha, y rocoto paste. :)

espero haberte ayudado

Peru On The Web

here are some interesting web sites

http://www.oregonlive.com/foodday/oregonia....xml&coll=7

I also made it to Sabor Peruano on the north side of Cincinnati over the weekend. They had a lot of dishes to choose from.

I had the lomo saltado, and since I didn't know when I'd be able to get back, I had choclo con queso for desert :P

I'm an American and my fiance is Brazilian...

so neither one of us is Peruvian...

but I lived in Ayacucho for 3 months while working on an archaeological dig (Huari) in 2003. (And spent some time in Cusco in 2000). I loveeeeeed it! I miss the food too. I sure could go for a Pisco sour now that I've mailed out my application. hehe

My fellow anthropologists and I talk about Peru often and how much we loved it and miss it.

Even if the "Titi" is in Bolivia and the "Caca" in Peru...Just joking!! :P:lol:

Good luck!
