To be honest I had a few weird experiences here too. I use to have this super coold friend in my former job, we used to have really intereresting conversations about Peru and books (two of my passions) and he ended asking me to leave my husband and marry and then move to Peru with him. Tell me if that is not freaky?????

He started kind of stalking me but I didn't want to tell Sil until it got to the point when I had to tell him, but he is very calm so he handle the situation.

Some of my clients invite me for drinks or lunch and things like that (of course I NEVER accept), even when I'm wearing my engagement ring and WEDDING RING. There's no respect, and when I tell Sil he just laughs.

Good night people

Vi ~ hahaha... your husband seems very secure of your relationship & that is great. Plus it's probably a compliment to him because his wife is so hot all these guys want to take her out, lol.

When I was in Peru, I got hit on a couple of times and one time by a guy at a party who kept asking me if he could touch my hair?? Luis finally put him in his place and there was almost a fight. His sister told me that most guys down there are fascinated with blonde hair. I told her to tell them to get a bottle of peroxide and leave me alone, LOL.

I'm the same way. I know that Erika would absolutely never cheat on me. So I just smile when she tells me about guys who hit on her...I'm definitely proud of my hot wife :D

That's awesome that you're not like some of those crazy jealous husbands out there. It shows you have a secure open honest relationship and that's perfect! :star:

Oh Yeah, he trusts me and I trust him, I think that thats is one of the most important things that a relationship should have TRUST (and RESPECT) and as SKETEAMO said, whenever I tell Sil that I had a weIrd experience, he just hugs me and tells me that that is because I'm beautiful :star: .

Good night!

Veroka you were in cleveland recently????!!!!!! :( :( :( We need to get together soon. We found another market here with TONS of peruvian stuff.

Wish we knew. Erika had to close Machu Picchu because of the construction. It was just impossible for her to get any customers down there. We were really upset when we found out.

Katherine and I just had our 1 year anniversary on the 20th. Ironically we were down in Columbus for it :P. Her sister came up on an exchange student work visa and is here for three months (leaves in march). That has been a really stressful time unfortunately, but we are working through it.

We are finally pretty settled into the house, still need to get some furniture, but everything is pretty much in place. I setup the new bed I finished building last night. Kathe is working full-time now and is really starting feel more "at home" now that she can be more self-sufficient with the job and driver's license. I can't wait until we get to go back to Peru, as we are currently planning for the first of May.

Glad to see all the new miniVJrs are doing good! Congrats everybody!

TODAY IS YOUR BDAY!!!

Lan would work if they had a flight available from portland to LA... if I try to do the search in another website it is extremely expensive compared to any other company...

I will check those websites!!

Our boy is 14 months, almost 15... I am not sure how we will make it in the flight... I must say, when we went to Lima last time and he was only 9 months it was a piece of cake... he had his own seat and stayed strapped in the car seat with no complaints!! Now, he has a mind of his own and he wont be in a car seat... We will see... ;)

Hi Ely! Yep, I really enjoyed our Trujillo trip. Also went to Huanchaco and Chan Chan... so beautiful. Besides going to the chakra in Chimbote, my favorite part of Peru. Mind you, I haven't been to the super touristy parts of Peru yet, ha ha! (Cusco, etc) :)

It'll happen. Lots of patience is needed during this part of the process, do your best to just keep yourself occupied. It's what saved me when we were waiting once we submitted the paperwork. It just seems to go on and on...

Gotta run... ceviche is on the table! Sunday morning/afternoon tradition already here in the States with us. It was when I lived in Peru too, ha ha!
