Melissa

Rossy is so excited that her Mom got the visa...... Her Mom will be a great help

It's a boy (Sebastien) and the due date is December 23rd. All 16 members of my family including what will be the little

6 month old are doing the Eastern Caribbean (San Juan, St. Thomas and St. Maarten). I can just imagine all that we have to pack for the little guy for a weeks cruise..... but I know that between 2 sister-in-laws and a sister they will all help.

Vi

It's great that your sister was here spending quality time with you and that you have a sister, that from what you say is like a twin. Even though you are sad at least you know that you can visit her and she can visit you without issues.

Thanks for all your support

Thanks MandyR

As I said before I'm very close to my sister and we look alot alike, she's my little sister (23) and I feel that since I moved to this country we became even closer. I know that I can go to visit her and my family whenever I want but it's not really that easy, I have some responsabilities now, a husband to take care of and a job plus next year he wants to go on a 'REAL VACATION" as he says, I undestand that he had been to my country 13 times (too many??) but family is family and I won't change that for 1 year travelling the world (exagerating a lil' bit)

I'm sure you will have plenty of help during the cruise, my in laws are going on a cruise to Canada next week (I can't wait  )

Saludos

Vi

HI PERUVIANS!

Scott and I are really happy cause we got our Visa!... Soon we'll be together again... and i will beocme one more Peruvian over there.

It is cool to know you guys. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

I will be living in North Dakota...probably the only peruvian over there LOL.

I was there before in a cultural exchange, that is how I met my sweet Scott.... and also we were really good customers from L a Bodega Peruana...

We will start to plan our wedding and some arrangements soon. I just hope my folks can get the visa to be with us that day.

Good luck to everyone.

I'm so feliz for you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your good news made my day.

I'm a little bit sad 'cause my little sister left last saturday, you know how sad is to say good bye, I cried all saturday, we really miss her at home I got so used to have her here with me. She had a great time in NYC but she said that she can't see herself moving to the States, it's too diferent to Peru.

My hubby sees me really depressed and he says that I should go back to visit my family for a month so I can recharge my batteries, I found an awesome price $463!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! round trip and all the fees included via Lacsa, with a few stops but I don't care, I need some family time  the only problem is that my green card expired on July 3rd and I still waiting for my 10 year green card, it can take up to a year :crying:, of course I can't leave without being sure that I can come back to the States.

That's it

have a great day amigos!!!!

Thank you maguilart, MandR, and Vi!! Luis and I are so excited about this pregnancy...but I've been so sick, it's hard to enjoy it at the time :crying: I'm sure it'll get better soon!

Vi, if it makes you feel any better, my husband gets very depressed about being away from Peru, too. He's making the adjustment well, but he never had any desire to live in the US. So we have our bad days along with the good.

Hang in there...you have a lot of support from your Peruvian/American friends here

I tried ginger in various forms, but it's absolutely disgusting to me. I've pretty much tried everything everyone's recommended, but have found very little relief so far.

Oh, well...at least my baby is doing well

Isnt it funny when you get advise from EVERYONE and nothing works? I felt like a freak when I tried so many things and nothing did the trick, I had to get some medication from my doctor when it was getting to the point where I couldnt take it anymore. So glad your baby is doing fine!! :)
